There's no two sides about this. As for a number, it needs to be lucrative enough that someone will take it, but not so lucrative that he can just blow up his ship with a friend, collect the contract, and buy a new ship and refit it + profit from the proceeds.

Well considering his from Trinity Nova, you can assume he will be hiding in a station with fifteen buddies on the other side of the gate, it would take effort and work and bla bla bla bla, 200mill would probably be enough for someone to go trough the trouble. I wouldnt give that isk out to some no-name idiot though, no. However, as far as I remember, TnT don't deal with pirates, so if someone from a semi-known pirate corp is to whack him you should be safe'ish. |

That is a VERY good idea, TnT would DEFINATELY not like having a war decc from privateers on them. Screw hiring a merc for him, spend your money on having Privateers have them decced 24/7, it will -seriously- cut into business, people may smack and whine about privateers, and god knows there are alot of bad players there, but I know some truly quality pvp'ers in there. And a war decc from privateers, is an end to -all- empire safety :D |

I have a suggestion - why not pay to have his Corporation's CEO killed instead of him? Make sure that the reason for the action is passed to the shortly-to-be victim by his killer just before he actually is podded.
Thereafter rinse and repeat as necessary whenever a member of that Corporation kills (or tries to kill) you.
I've always been a great fan of making people collectively aware of the resuts of their actions.

Yeah I have to agree about privvies. They can be really obnoxious. Yes they have some easy marks in their ranks but they've also got some very very good pilots among them who will kill you repeatedly and love every second of it. One member corp in their alliance in particular (Beyond Divinity) I've found to have extremely talented pilots in it who fly good ships and fly them well. One of their pilots killed me twice today, in fact.  |

*laughing* I'm not endeavoring to be a corp thief. I've got a GIGANTIC in-game event planned. Event security has been been hired, invitations have started going out, and the finishing touches are being worked out.
If you were in my shoes, would you want some brainless twit screaming unfounded crap about you in public? Like it or not, its called SLANDER and LIBEL (both in game and in the forums) and is quite immoral.
Their CEO is at fault for recruiting such a poopy head. *shrugs*

Curzon, firstly may I unreservedly apologise for an ill-considered post by a member of Trinity Nova. As CEO of the corp I of course take full responsibility for the actions of any pilot who flies under our banner. I post, not to generate a retraction of your planned revenge, a man is free to spend his hard earned ISK anyway he chooses, simply to make a public apology and show our sincerity without any duress. Trinity Nova takes the behaviour of it's members very seriously - we have a handbook that all members are required to read and abide by during their stay in the corp. Please rest assured that our internal discipline and process handles any infractions. I will not go into detail of a particular incidence or the outcome, but for your reference the relevant parts consist of the following - Quote:

No no no, privateers are being hired in addition to the contracts out on the hombre first mentioned, aswell as Tyto (I believe he is the ceo?) kill any of them in a shiny ship with proof (screen/fraps) and it looks as if you'll be getting paid :) Funny how the sorry comes after a privateers war decc, worried empire contracts may be a lil rough flashing red to 1k high sec pirates? Man I love this thread, see if more carebears did this instead of just whine, i'd actually respect them :D |
