I don't think I've ever been in a battle where killing 600+ enemies still results in losing 3 poses.

But that battle for the last POS was really awesome, gf.

Congrats to LV on building a titan and on keeping it so secret. But what a way to introduce it to the battlefield. Well done LV!

02:33 EVE Time, December 9th: 702 ship lost in the last 24hrs. Hell of a fight! :) gratz to both sides! Fulminating DD!! Although this very nice manoeuver, the third -V- POS in the system has now been destroyed. A couple to go!

Congrats LV. The bigger achievement was building that beauty in secrecy and keeping that lid tight even as it was deployed. That is a tremendous achievement. Nicely done. Very Happy

Nice job organizing such a trap, outstanding Twisted Evil

However, from the conflicting reports here, I didnt understand something:
Was the Avatar already in local, and just cyno was made in proper spot? or the Titan actually jumped into the middle of their fleet?

If its the later, then how comes that the RAgoon+allies, having way over 250+ ships, couldnt take it down within 15 secs?

I mean, 250+ ships is insane DPS! should have been able to I would think.. or whats the HP on the thing?

From what I've read and understood, it seems that the Titan was in system, in either a POS or safespot. A suicide cyno gen probe was sent into the middle of the ra/goon/tcf/etc fleet, and then there was a boom.

In all honesty, I doubt this can really repeat itself. If goons had prior knowledge that LV had a titan, they would've known to run when that cyno opened. Now that it's common knowledge, LV no longer has the supreme element of surprise.

They have the best gang bonus:
7.5% bonus to gang members’ capacitor recharge rate per level. The Amarr doomsday weapon also does EM damage, which is effective against practically everything if not specifically tanked against.

We may no longer have the element of surprise but it is the ulitmate psychological weapon. For instance...Cyno pilot warps in and turns the lights on. The roaches scatter!!!! No need for the Titan to even be around. Let the hilarity ensue!

Indeed, this Doomdays shot was perfectly done.
I'd say that Titans were designed to be used exactly that way (whiping a complete fleet at gate).

However, RAGOONTCF and allies finally had the upper hand in POS fights later.

We are now singing :)

Should be, except when your opponents are RA / Goon / TCF you can't really say we've been "stunned" or "scared" by your titan, we were rather like "Damn that was a nice move : we need more ships, NOW !"

Hello Guys,

Congratz on a successfull deployment of this beast.

If you all recall an forum mod post after ASCN annonced theirs, They said yes we confirm that Ascn has built the first titan, but we cant confirm or deny if another one another one started or built afterwards. kind of given it away. it was just a whos built/building it and when will they show it.

many people throught it was BOB

Any way nice to see another titan on the battle field, Would like to see an LV and ASCN War now.

And you still lost the system?

A brilliant manuever I must say, but seems it was all for naught. Despite still losing the field you achieved a single action kill record that will likely stand for some time. Kudos to the Enslaver.

I can only imagine that if the follow up to the doomsday attack had been executed efficiently it would have gone down as one of the most ingenius battlefield manuevers of all EVE time, instead it was just good one and quite a bit short of legendary.
