My practicing on video editing continues. Thought I'd make a small tribute for the night (5.12.) when ASCN decided to bring some guns out in AZN. Let's not start commenting on the battle in here tho.
I know it's just another BoB propaganda thingie but I tried to make it entertaining.

//edit
Rendered the project once more. Almost half the size from first with better quality audio, good video quality and almost half the size. I've removed the other two versions from eve-files to keep my directory nice and tidy.

EVE-files linky
Duration: 3:14
Size: 47,5MB

Thanks again Chribba for all kinds of things he brings for us.

PS. I hate edit in EVE forums. I lose the topic everytime :)

nice one, getting better :)

but the sad part (not about the video, more about the content), this pretty much shows how lame eve has become and that there is no longer much honor and whatever involved. killing a dread which probably crashed to desktop with the poor pilot knowing nothing about whats going on.. just to get one more killmail on the boards Crying or Very sad - nothing to be proud of.

this is nothing about the pilots involved, just a fact i dont like about where we are all heading. this comes into vogue.

tbh, considering the shamelessness with which opponents admit to petitioning a ship loss for the smallest issues, I no longer have any qualms aabout this kind of kill. Plus, the other side of the story is that they've had opportunities to do the same to our dreads several times and never been on the ball enough to grab an opportunity.

The funniest part was when we were pounding on the Naglfar at the POS it didn't seem terribly laggy, and I was happily shooting, until the FC yelled to get out cos their BS fleet came in - I clicked to warp and it took nearly a minute for that to happen, but in that whole time I never saw any enemy ship other than their dreads.

Having said that though, in similar situations pre-Revelations, the node would have been so dead it's not even funny.

On the other hand, from what I've been told, the phoenix pilot logged back in and then out again when he was scrambled.

If he stayed online, got back in the gang, there would have been a good chance that ASCN was able to save the dread.

Also nothing stops probing for friendlies. Surely if one of your dreads goes offline you would immediately start probing for it and make sure that support can get there if enemy does the same? I'm sure we would do that.
