For a reason we will not know (perhaps to save his xx bill isk impoc) IAC was disqualified for dropping a secure can full of cap charges. Clearly written in the rules to be disallowed.
So how can the self claimed master tactician miss a simple rule like that?
The answer is he cant really, so he was obvioulsy intentionally cheating, so IAC arent the great team they claim to be if they have to resort to cheating.

It's no surprise, honestly.
Everyone was waiting for him to find a new way to embarrass himself... and to bring shame to an alliance undeserving of his actions.
Stupidity like this is apparently standard operating procedure for him.

In all honesty and respect the Impoc was not going to be destroyed anyways, what happened was that the Impoc dropped the can for the Absolution which had no cap left to repair, this allowed the absolution to heal up. So what would have happened was that the Absolution would have been destroyed but the Impoc remained, giving Terra Incognita the point win.

Nasty peice of work... a friend of mine's team was knocked out last year because of Tyrax's match throwing, so i'm feeling so grudged towards him. I'm really hoping this is true. |

Actually Absolution dropped the can by mistake, for the Impoc, to transfer cap charges for remote repair.
Was just a mistake, should've dropped a crystal and dragged between standard can and jetcan.
Btw was a standard medium can, not a secure.
Could've just nossed the absolution ofc, but hey, **** happens. |

Firstly, to state the obvious (since it's lost on you)... this is a Tourney forum. If you cannot let go of your rather ambiguous failure on our contract then deal with it on your own time. You do not 'beat' mercs. We get paid to do what we do. We got paid and our client was exceedindly satisfied with our work. Drop your issues and discuss the tourney, sir. |

IAC dropped a STANDARD container (not secure, not jet can).
This is against the rules.
I am not fully aware of the resons for this, but there are several possiblities.
It is unlikely they were deliberatly cheating.
It "could" have affected the outcome of the match depending on the reason for dropping it, it "may" not have though.
Either way, it is against the rules.
Situations reversed, I have no doubt IAC would have pointed this out too.
More details will follow. |

Nothing I disagree there apart from us pointing it out, I wouldn't bother contesting a fight where we'd lost on a technicality that had no effect. Ofc you think it did have an effect, so makes sense to petition it. We messed up, BE wins, makes our fight with MC more important is all. |

I think many of you are being extreemly unfair to IAC.
They broke the rules, I am fairly sure not intentionaly. But bottom line is they have a very strong team, and are fielding the isk equivalent of a Titan which takes some serius cajones.

I think you may be confusing disrespect for Tyrrax as disrespect for IAC. I personally have quite a bit of respect for many IAC members. Tyrrax, however, has done plenty of things worthy of a significant loss of respect. I think it's a shame to see a great alliance cast in a somewhat questionable light thanks to the actions of one person who doesn't have a strong enough sense of consideration for others so as to dictate acting more responsibly. I wish IAC the best of luck in the tourney. They have a great team. |

Tbh its ridiculous that this thread was made but I have respect for both teams but I want to see MC win because last tournament Kaos really wanted to fight IAC and they threw the match sooo w/e. Hats off to BE. Lets see what happens.
