So what exactly are we doing in Egghelende? I personally don't ransom people in belts or at gates. It's a very dangerous position to be in sitting at the gate waiting for the guy to send you isk. Especially with warp-to-zero, you don't know who's coming in from the other side. I've been happily ransoming mission runners in deadspace, unless i've had previous run-ins with them and don't like them.
Ransoming is a method of piracy, but as far as i'm concerned; it's pirates being nice to other players. We could easily blow you up and move on, but instead we spare your ship and implants. Thus, saving you the trouble of getting a new clone, ship, fittings, implants, traveling 40 jumps to your clone, etc... |

When I used to hunt at gates solo I knew the odds were that if the ship I was attacking aggrod back I would be in a for alot of trouble.
BS + Sentrys on my light tank is BBQ time for me, no option to leave, just sit there and die. Without stabs I would literally lose 2 ravens a day. With them, I can attack on the off chance of victory....
Now, solo gate work is too risky ... only the rich, stupid, or large gang can do it.
tbh, people like you have never taken on BS solo at gates without stabs, or you wouldn't be posting like you are..... why post on something that you clearly do not understand.
Don't for one second try and tell me that you can take pretty much any other BS under sentry fire solo ?, it's not true
edit: tiller does not have a carebear alt paying for his ships, he buys them himself... largely from isk gained from popping people and ransoms. No amount of destruction can sustain a unstabbed solo gate camper taking on large risky targets.
So basically if your enemy isn't afk on autopilot you have no chance of fighting him without stabs? Seriously wow, ****ing pathetic is all i can say. |

I love the new changes. Makes it so much easier to catch bears making a run for it in 0.0
Who needs stabs to engage larger ships and groups with larger ships and larger numbers? All it means is you have to be good, and not just warp out if you screw up.
I haven't noticed any problems with an increase in HP so far, then again, I hunt people in 0.0, and this gives their friends a better chance to warp in and get killed too. So far its been very profitable, especially with everyone travelling in the new regions. |

Maybe you should try leaving messoya once and do some real pvp.. in 0.0 you can use bubbles, witch means warp to 0 aint a problem anymore. |

i agree with some parts of what the op has posted. as a low sec pirate myself, im finding revelations to be a mixed bag. our corp used to specialise in solo and small 2/3 pilot gang hunting.
the warp to 0 doesnt bother me to much as we never really gate camped anyway (except for the magic gates and ccp banned those a few months back) and tbh i have noticed an increase in population in some parts of low sec. what bothers me about revelations is the hp increase. well its not the hp increase as such, but the blobs that its spawned. so far it seems that the days when i could run into a hostile system, kill a rupture or some other cruiser solo in my belli and get out b4 the cavalry turned up r gone. having said that im waiting for the rigs to become more widely available as i hope/believe these will balance out the hp increase. i like solo hunting, i dont want to start getting involved with fleets and blobs.
quick question - if u attack a mission runner in deadspace in high sec will concord get involved? i only ask coz attacking peeps in complexs doesnt give u a red aggression timer.
