I have been looking around for posts about reloading mid-combat and all I have found are statements that its a hassle, takes too long, is bugged etc.
Frigates I dont mind, but once your get into BS's and their 6-8 slots its Carpal Tunnel Syndrome all the way

Using lasers as example:
We can currently R-click each gun to swap the crystal, reloading per se is thankfully not an issue. Lasers unfortunately have close to zero falloff so it becomes necessary to swap quite a lot to adjust optimal range. We can unload to cargo, change the crystal, turn reloading on/off .. all by R-clicking the individual slot.
Suggestion: Introduce a modifier key for the "ammo management". By pressing the key, any selection made in the context menu will apply to all guns/launchers (ie. load x-ray, unload to cargo, load Cataclysm etc.). This is really the simplest most beneficial solution I can come up with to something that has been nagging me for months.
