We are looking forward to seeing some killer demos. The fun doesn't end there!! We're mixing it up this time, and instead of inviting people who we owe large sums of ISK to, we're opening up the couch to ANYONE who plays EVE. We're looking to have somewhere between two and four people to be flown out to Iceland by CCP. You will be housed, fed, and possibly inebriated. Unfortunately, we can't just have anyone. Seriously, isn't it time to come up with something new?
Also, would it be possible to create a solution where you can watch the games with the EVE client (or a client made especially for this purpose)? The webcast wasn't exactly... crystal-clear, if you know what I mean... |

Best thing about the next evetv pvp event is that we are all looking forward to making it "better". As we have said for all of us it was something we have never tried before, a pilot and there are so many things we love to add on to the next event. Fresh faces, more alliance involvement, fancier set... list is endless. Thanks so much to Xod for all the work he is putting in on the commentator auditions and look forward to seeing some of the applications. This is your chance to poke that corp mate who you think would make a great addition to the next event, or maybe you think you should have been there last time.. best of luck to the all that apply. |

I like to point something out at this point.
I really enjoyed the eve-tv broadcast and much respect to the moderators that ran it. But I noticed that the 2 dudes lacked abit in knownledge of the game and there was often much confusion about what was going on in some situations. If you do sign up for this task, then be sure to know every module that is allowed for the tournament.

Yes, some more thorough reading of the alliance rules on the part of the commentators would be good - though I can't really blame them for not doing so as from what I understand CCP was busy getting them drunk the week before. Oh, and some more knowledge of the alliances involved would be nice, though I don't think I have to worry about that next time. |

Now its the chance for all those who were whining about the commentators to stand up and try for themselves. Personally I thought the first EVE TV was great, the commentators may not have been the "leetest" PvP'rs but they did well to make it interesting even when the fights were not. Didnt mind Stavros there at all it was nice that things wernt being taken too seriously because just talking about the various modules for days in a row could have got very tedious and there were some laugh out loud moments between Spiral and Stavros. I thought spiral was great and I have to say seeing them take the **** out of so many alliances was one of the best parts  When applying I would say a sense of humour should come above knowing every module in the game  and best of luck to all those that enter. I hope this time round EVE TV is just as enjoyable as the last. |
