I think it's time to clear this issue. I've been accused recently of hating BoB, reacting in an inadequate way to any discussion involving BoB, making things up and so on. All this is far from the truth. I never made a smacking comment about BoB, except one, which I retracted 5 minutes after posting as it was really out of line. Yet some BoB members assume that if I post staff that is not liked by them, I just have to be a little frustrated kid, who runs around with “I HATE BOB” banner. Guess what, you are wrong. You can ask ppl I fly with daily in game and they will tell you how wrong you are.

Anyway, back to the topic. I do admit that I dislike BoB (not hate). Why? First and foremost because of their attitude. I don't like ppl who are rubbing their success in everyones faces every time they speak up. I respect BoB for what they've done and how they've built their alliance. I dislike them for chest beating, PR forum campaigns and general smacking. I hate smacking, if I kill a ship, doesn't matter how clueless the pilot was, I'll never say “You got pwned, you st00pid n00b” or crap like that. And I don't like ppl who smack this way.

I play this game to be as good as I can. And some of my negative sentiment towards you come from the fact that game mechanics prevent me from ever being as good as some of your pilots only because I haven't started the game in 2003. Call it a jealousy if you want, but it's not. I feel nothing negative towards ppl who were at equal footing with me and succeeded more because they were smarter, worked harder or reacted more quickly. I don't like ppl who are shouting about how uber they are on every corner and they had 3 years to come to that uberness and virtually block everybody else from coming even close.
