- Everyone would have billions of isk in their wallets.
- Everyone would just be doing missions and holding hands.
- Market for named items would crash because of all the npc loot and almost no ship losses.
- Everyone would be in faction BS´s.
- Everyone would have full set of +5 implants in one clone, full crystal set in another clone, snake set in third...etc
- Every 0.0 system would have outpost in it.
- Eventually all alliances would merge into one super alliance and everyone in eve would be members of that alliance which would be called Veldspar Alliance.
- Everyone would get bored too death and quit.
So what statement is more true: 1. Carebearing is bad for EvE! 2. Pirating is good for EvE! |

btw, carebearing isn`t bad, if it wasn`t for us, u`d have no minerals, 0.0000000438% of current day market and no carebears mining rares for corps/alliances to sell in empire as there is no one to mine or sell to eve is balanced with it, 1 depends on the other, no matter how much each side hates even thinking about it  |

Why must it be carebearing is bad and pirating is good? Are you unable to understand the fact that a variety of both destroying AND building is required in this game?
While I disagree with CCP some of the time, they realize that a variety of professions are required to appeal to the different playstyles in the game. The question is why don't you realize this? |

I´ve just seen alot of whining about pirates/scammers/empire gankers and how they are ruining EvE. People have posted silly suggestions about how to "improve" the game to make these professions almost impossible to operate. This topic is meant to show people that pirating and damaging is the roots that make eve what it is. Fantastic game! Of course we need carebears as long as the roots are in place.  |

Carebears = herbivores
Pirates = carnivores
Carebears eat grass, pirates eat carebears. If all the carebears get eaten, the pirates will have nothing to eat... unless they become carebears themselves and start eating grass.

On the contrary my friend...there is a fine line between the term "pirate" and what it really refers to. I believe pirates are good for Eve, however, if your daily ritual consists of ganking, griefing, and sniping... then you are no pirate my friend... perhaps a lame one at best. Carebears... or what I rather call, "genuine good people in the community"... are the fabric of Eve... so rant all you rant about pirates, but until a pirate is actually a "pirate", you need to stfu. Look at it this way... Eve could go on without pirates... Eve could NOT continue without your "carebears".

I'm sure there is an industrial corp in there because without one you wont have ships, supplies, or very much to maintain a POS or anything else much larger than a BS. lol, i cant belive some of the replies and and assumptions im getting to a post that is 95% joke and 5% "virtual" reality check. I just want to make one thing clear, I am not a pirate like some of you seem to assume, I´m a hardcore carebear. I make weapons of mass destruction and ships. Without pirates, wars and mindless ganking I would probably be unemployed. So, please by all means stop being a carebear and start pirating, meanwhile I´ll be counting isk´s |
