hi,

now finaelly it happens to me too, I was successfull in an outnumbered fight( for the begin with )

after I lost 2 Feroxes in the last week npcing to pirates ( one of them got Burn Eden...), I decided to try something new.

we all know the stupid npcer standard ferox setup:

5 x heavy launcher, 2 x rails
3 x extender II
2 x rat specific hardener
4 x pds

ok we know it all and we all know if i'm hunting guristas, I'm damn dead if you attack me with something not kinetic... Like loveley thunderbolts. Even I figured out, after loosing close too 200 Millions in stuff, maybe not the best setup for 0.0 ratting...

so I used quickfit and found something, mean I would call it...

5 x heavy launcher, 2 x medium nos
4 x racial jammers
1 x large booster
4 bcu

so I was ratting in a nice quite system, chatting with gangmates in other belts. And suddendly I see in local a guy with this awesome bounty, means run to me no real pvp experience...

...yeah I just had to finish this one last battleship, we do it all...

and he jumps on me in a frig or so with autocannons. So I try to run away with my fat ass ship, scrambled, first time I'm thinking fu.....

...ck what todo now? I see my shield going down, my jammers are still one this damn rats, my buddies telling me they hurry, but we all know they are always to late...

...so I finally got my jammer of the npc and on him, problem I have only cladari jammer, he is in a non caldari ship. So after i tried to jamm him and it works ( all jammers active ), launching my missiles and my nos...

wtf, his shield goes down, i'm in amor now crying in gangchat not another ferox, his shield goes damn fast down and finaelly my booster works, now I could warp away ( he's jammed can't do a damn thing ), but no I want the kill! Now I don't care about beeing broke. I want him to leave not me. So my launchers pounding on him and his shield is at zero, his amor goes down like nothing and I start to ask me what is wrong with his setup... He is still jammend when he hits structure and I'm so ****ed that I have no scrambler... in the moment his strucure is at 5% he warps...

...I think damn son of a... and an eagle warps in. Ok I'm getting lucky, so jammed the eagle (7.2 for caldari) and start tickling him with my missiles... damn hac's no way to get throw. This moment the first guy warps back in, I jam him and start pounding him again and ignored the eagle ( i sjammed can't do a sh... right now) , he runs again... So back to the eagle, in this moment I look at my amor, 9% left and start to run away ( stupid npc is still pounding me), sorry dont want to loose my ship to a fight I cant win...

...my gang mates warp in, so 2 Battlecruiser, 1 Raven starting pounding on this guy. I check local, wow his backup comes 3 other guys are warping in... me at safespot waiting for recovery of at least 10% of my shield and warping back to help my gangmates...

result:

me taking one to structure,
tanking an eagle ( after 10 seconds he was jamed),
tanking a stupid 1.25 million npc rat pounding me with cruise...

then my backup comes,
their backup arrives,

its now 3 against 5, I'm recovering a little (so don't count anymore). 2 of my gangmates are noobs ( both way under 3 month fitted for npcing! One has 40k in gunnery and uses auto cannons, the other 5 x heavy missiles barley skilled) and one in a raven with torpedos, fitted for npc's ( only one with pvp experience ). They run away :)

we won our first gang battle, if we would have 1 scrambler we would kill them...

...so we only where sitting there with pounding hearts and woundering that nobody where talking bull**** in local! ( local filling up with guy from their alliance)

So thanks (enter the name of attacking enemy) for having an awesome fight and totally sweeten my evening! First time I surrvived an attacka gainst two highly skilled people! ( me more or less industrial with 220k points in missiles) Ok I could'nt kill you, but at least you run away from npcing noobs.
