I have a question before I throw my money out into space ... ;)
When I buy a large Container, I can fit 750 m3 cargo in it, but it only takes up 650 m3 in my ships cargo, right? So basicall, I'm expanding my cargo by a factor of 1.2?
But do I then have to fill and empty all of these 7 containers in my Badger after I land? Or can I fill/empty them all in one somehow?
Also why are there 3 sizes, if all of them offer a 1.2x improvement? Is that because with the small I would have to use 17 containers? And fill/empty them all manually? |

Right. Quote:

You will have to open each container and fill it up separately. Its not possible to fill them up all at the same time. So a bit of mouse-clicking is involved. Quote:

Right again. Don't forget, smaller sized ships have smaller cargo holds, thus it makes sense to have cargo cans to suit these smaller cargo holds. If you're planning to use an industrial, i would advise to use large or extra large cargo containers, simply out of convenience and simplicity. Less clicking and mouse work. Jacques' |

Ah, thanks a lot...
basically I'm looking for ways to expand my cargo hold in my Badger... so I will first expand it with hull upgrades and then buy me some large standard containers. That should help me earning ISK's a bit ;)
Thanks again for the help. |

Huge and Giant Secure Containers are more efficient, they have a 1.3x factor of capacity/volume. |

There is a way to empty containers really fast. Repackage them. All the items in the container will end up in your hangar. The containers have to be in your hangar first, of course. |
