I've been playing eve to death over the last 5 days since i started. Needless to say, ive aqquired quite a few items in my travels, scattered across many systems.

i was wondering, is their any limit to how much you can have at each station? I corrilated all of my items into one station so that i could begin to place the valuable ones on that market at competive prices. Now, this station is litterally flooded with items, and i wanted to make sure i wasn't going to suddenly hit a limit.

Also, what are the best stations of trading, and any tips on trading basics?

There is no limit for the number of items you can have.

Buy station containers and place similar modules in them. Also reprocess any cheap junk you have. It takes time to learn what everything is worth. You will find it is not worth the bother of selling some things. Reprocess items and use the minerals to build things or sell them.

Finally, stations in 0.0 are mostly npc. Some conquerable stations (that you wont have access to) and some POS (Player owned stations) that you also wont have access to.

Indeed it takes a while to learn what stuff is worth anything.

A good reference is the naga loot shop website (Linkage), there they have mentioned most of al named items, and a sell price. Remember it's just a target price, sometimes you can sell it for more, other times it will be less.

On 0.0 space:

the regions of Venal, Pure Blind, Geminate, outer or cloud ring (not sure which is which atm, but the one next to fountain), syndicate, fountain, stain, curse and great wildlands all feature anywhere from 2 to lots and lots of npc stations.

These regions have no conquarable stations.

All other 0.0 space regions have 3 conquerable stations each, where docking rights and rental prices are determined by the owner corporation.

Welcome to EVE!!

As most of your questions have pretty much been answered, I just though I might provide you with a linkage to a further thread: Trading 101 from the market discussions forum, that has helped many new EVE Players get started in the world of trading.

Good luck, good fortune and safe travels. Razz
