Paigan: For this trailer, all ship models were extracted from the game. The movie will have a mix of both game models (mostly cruisers and frigs) and higher detailed models that we have created, primarily all the battleships.
Januk: This trailer is all CGI. None of the footage is from the game although playing the game was the main inspiration for making this trailer and the movie that will be coming soon. I'm glad you enjoyed it! |

Excellent work, with the only critique points already been mentioned by people. Can't wait for the full version :D My roommate saw it and wondered "so dude when's that spaceship movie gonna be in theatres?" -- had to let him down by saying it was a full CGI production based on one of them "lame MMO's" I play :D *does a little let-it-rain-episode-1 dance* Also added a mirror: netmastering.nl mirror (use right-click, save link location, or what have you) |

I think its either Q1 or Q2 of 2006 :) Either way the day this video is released, it will need some serious bandwidth :D will all the Eve fan base virtually downloading it I'm sure whoever hosts it will feel the strain :D |

I think that my only complaint with these lines of film are that the Galante are made to look rather retarted and incabable of fighting a war. A minor complaint at the absolutely breath taking films but being a fan of Galanteans its my chief complaint hehe. Again though it looks awesome even if my babies are floundering

The CGI in it raise the bar for CGI movies in EVE to an entirely new level. I believe that the wait for Episode One is going to be well worth it, and my hat's off to everyone who is putting in effort on the film. (I also agree with whoever posted earlier about all of EVE having watched that video, and the other person who remarked that the host of the movie will be feeling the strain.) CCP definitely should investigate this guy for a job with them, especially if Episode One blows the doors off the trailer. 100k players could be reached if TV commercials [or any sort of video advertisement] utilized graphics like that to publicize the game. Once again, an outstanding trailer that raises the bar. Congratulations are definitely in order: you've earned it! |
