I've logged in just now and tried to install the update #2, but without success. The download is not starting and after a couple of seconds I'm getting the message:

"Unable to install the client update.

Press 'OK' to continue."

I have previously installed update #1 and the first time I've started the #2 update process, the error message was something like "Your client is using an obsolete update. Click here to clear." (not actual quote, but something like that). I have cleared the cache, but without success.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Is the update #2 even available on the server?

Edit: looks like image server might be out too. In game portraits are not updating at all either. (logged in without optional #2 patch)

You may need to file a petition , but first try this. Go into the location where your client downloads the client updates (it should be something similar to c:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility) and delete all the .code files. Run the client and attempt to install again.

If that doesn't work, make sure the directory is empty yet again and then reboot your computer.

If that doesn't work, file the petition, but include a copy of your logserver files.
