For those interested, CCP Soundwave just announced that they will be looking to balance Gallente weapons after the Winter expansion.
He also mentioned another ship-focused expansion is on the radar. |

He has mentioned this before, said the same thing in the eve-radio interview last week. The timeline does seem a little unclear, but it's nice to know they have some more player friendly expansions in the pipeline. |

Yes, yes, but I'm just getting started so my training will just be coming together in a year. The mind game here is if CCP will overcompensate such that Gallente will be FOTM after these changes are implemented. |

After the winter expansion... which expansion, a robe and some odd pants? ( and yes I am aware that the winter expansion has yet to come but following their current logic its gonna be junk )
Also, on the radar... That can mean in 3 years time, or atleast I hope CCP plans ahead more then 1 hour at a time.
While the weapon iteration and ship focus sounds nice I think we better take a step back and wait until they actually release something, thats like the only way for us to know they are doing something nowdays. |

So it took several years (while feverishly working on barbie-in-space and the MT), and now AFTER the winter expansion they'll HAVE A LOOK AT IT? "Having a look" means starting from scratch and figuring IF it needs work and WHAT that should be then, if any. So that'll take ANOTHER year before it's actually implemented.
Seriously CCP, you've been having your priorities all wrong, and we're the ones paying for it... literally. FU! |

Also I object to the term Gallente weapon balance because I fit blasters on my Caldari ships and sometimes Minmatar stuff so eat me. Not Amarr though.  You have not played Eve until you have flown a blaster Rifter, there I said it. |

Yeah, they'll nerf the Gallente drones to put them more in line with the Amarr ones. |
