#1 increase the Warp Speed of all ships across the board.
but keep the align times/agility the same

for example:
interceptors warp at 13.5 AU/s x 2 = 27 au
battleships bcs etc warp at 3 au x 2 = 6 au

would this break the server? as possibly would increase usage of stargate per hour or what

#2 give us max warp speed immediately upon warp
come on, when we are aligning we are already spooling the warp drive whatever, i just don't think there is any need for this delay except to bust our balls. this is not about pvp, if i am caught by a point i am caught fine, if i've escaped then great,
the life or death contest is settled during critical moments of aligning/reaching 70% engine speed and once that is decided players should be given the warp immediately.

#3 better "entering warp/ warp drive active graphic effects"
others have mentioned this, a simple bright flash and our ship vanishes something like that

#1, I think they are fine. Increasing them would give pilots a reason to spam the d-scan even more no? What's your reason why you suggest this?

#2, again - why? the warps aren't THAT long.

#3, totaly agree. a small bright flash or a small window opening and closing on warp out and warp in would look totaly cool from a spectator perspective. And if there was somewhat a nice glow or so on your ship while in warp you'd get a better "speed" feeling espeically since the warp tunnel effect doesn't seem to work at all times.

I want to agree with you only because im always wishing for a way to make long trips faster, however there are many negative affects this would have on gameplay. for instance, you are trying to make a faster trip through apace, perhaps your hauling goods, it now becomes unsafe because it takes half the time for piraate scouts to get from gate to gate, yeah you are getting there faster now but your window of oppurtunity of uncloaking and warping to next gate safely without a pirate scout just happening to warp on your gate on patrol just got have as short. it will also affect faction warfare/pvp. you see a way target and he bolts to a gate. in the time it take you to align now he might already be jumped into next system. I would be all supportive of such a feature, but only if it is localized to highsec, and only when traveling gate to gate.
I semi-spport

no to faster warping eve is already small as it is id rather have the warp speed of all ships halved right now its not a big deal to fly to jita to buy all your stuff if however it took a lot longer to get there there would be many more smaller trade hubs and the profession of a trader would get bigger due to that
also it would reduce the amount of isk produced as it now would take longer to do missions etc
also warp speed of ships would start mattering more

I'm a big fan of the insta warp idea how ever
the speed up part takes a lot from the speed advantage smaller ships get over big ones
because in small systems interceptors never get to full speed

id also love some better warp effects like warp flashes and a warp tunnel that actually explains why we are able to warp though planets

with the current mechanics, the warp direction is always visible for non-cloaker ships. So if we get insta warps, this would mean a nerf to pvp, since following a ship by visual within a system wouldnt work anymore.

i completely do not buy into that whole concept that "eve is too small" when i do incursions i have to do 40 jumps come on the eve universe is pretty damn massive. and FYI i do not go to jita for every little thing i forgot to buy, i use whatever is closest regionally like hek, that's why i wanted to increase warp speed, without affecting gameplay

it makes me wonder all of a sudden, let's say my inty has warp speed of 12 au, and i am in warp just my warp speed isn't up to max warp speed of 12 au just yet, and boom suddenly another int insta locks me and slap on a scram, am i "caught" at this moment? i would think not, because i am already in warp??

this is an alternative suggestion to the warp mechanics.
currently from what i've observed the warp mechanics in game works like this
with four phases
A > B > C > D

A: Align and accelerate
B: Warp activated and accelerating to max warp speed
C: Warping in the tunnel at max warp speed
D: Warp speed decelerating as ship is nearing warp destination

i would like to simplify that into A > C, and modify D into a new warp effect like sound effect zzuuuuuwaaaaang u just pop out of warp at your warp destination (like 0m at the gate) without the deceleration.

i just think that the "Catch or Miss" between me and the pirate should be all settle at phase A and the other phases are just not necessary, in fact, CCP can add 2 seconds to phase A on top of aligning time to compensate for the 2 seconds lost due to instantly reaching max warp speed

and for the pirate there should be a graphical effect, should be similar to a stargate shooting a huge beam of light indicating the direction i warped off to. so the pirate can continue the chase as usual.

i know i am asking for lots of eyecandy effects but considering the whole incarna this is very modest.

All of the mechanics listed work perfectly fine.

Did you know that we used to warp to gates at 15km by default?
Did you know that you run into people everywhere you go, in the entire galaxy? is it still huge then?

I'm saying. It's good the way it is. Really... skill up your navigation skills and you'll not be as bored when warping as you seem to be.

well if we're all gonna go my grandpa used to walk 15 miles in the snow with no shoes to school

but guess we can agree on a new warp effect similar to those fed to the public in ccp trailers

Warp changes were discussed by CCP not too long ago. It was either from CSM, the questions thread, or a random topic.
It was said that even a small change to warp mechanics would be difficult to implement. ugh
I would enjoy larger engine glows while warping, heat friction from miscellaneous space particles shown at the front of the ship, instant acceleration and deceleration, loud noises and big flashes.

By acceleration and deceleration, I don't mean alignment times.
