They do not prefer autistics... Which is what confuses me... Why would an alliance like the sansha who tamper with mind control and brain waves not want autistics..

Case and point: The only reason Sansha would have to deny autistics into his numbers would be that autistic minds might be a great deal harder to brainwash and control due to the factors mentioned above. Yet CCP has not published a chronicle or any lore related material to this effect.

Xenuria, you're interpreting that character description pretty much 100% ass-backwards.

it says that he was rejected by his parents, but excelled in the ranks of Sansha's Nation because of his condition.

in fact, I really don't get how you could so wildly misinterpret what's being said there. it isn't confusingly worded at all.

Black and white bean soup with salsa



A little bacon goes a long way to adding richness and depth to the flavours in this hearty bean soup.

Ingredients (serves 6)

Black bean soup
250g dried black (turtle) beans*
1 bunch coriander
2 tbs olive oil
50g pancetta or bacon, diced
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 leek (white part only), chopped
1 carrot, roughly chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 tbs ground cumin
1 small red chilli, seeds removed, chopped
1.2L chicken stock
White bean soup
225g dried butter (lima) beans
2 tbs olive oil
1 leek (white part only), chopped
2 celery stalks
2 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
1 sprig thyme, leaves picked
1.2L vegetable stock
Salsa
2 tomatoes, peeled, seeds removed, chopped
1 small red onion, chopped
1 small red chilli, seeds removed, chopped
2 tbs olive oil
Juice of 1/2 lime


Method

Place the black and butter beans for the two soups in separate bowls, cover with cold water and leave to soak overnight. The next day, drain off all the liquid and rinse the beans.

For the black bean soup, finely chop coriander stalks and set leaves aside for use in the salsa. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat, add pancetta and cook until starting to crisp. Add onion, leek, carrot and garlic, cook over low heat for about 5 minutes until softened, then add cumin, chilli and coriander stalks. Cook for a further minute, then add black beans and chicken stock.

Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Remove 1/2 cup of the beans with a slotted spoon and set aside for the salsa. Cool soup slightly, then blend in batches until smooth. Return to pan and season with salt and pepper.

For the white bean soup, heat oil in a large saucepan, add leek and cook over low heat for 1-2 minutes until softened. Add celery, garlic, bay leaf and thyme and cook 2-3 minutes or until celery starts to soften.

Add stock, bring to boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender. Cool slightly, discard bay leaf and thyme, then blend in batches until smooth. Return to pan and season with salt and pepper.

To make salsa, place remaining ingredients in a bowl, including the finely chopped coriander leaves and the reserved black beans, season with salt and pepper and toss well.

To serve, reheat both soups separately over low heat. Pour ladlefuls of each soup simultaneously from opposite sides of each bowl so the colours are kept separate. Spoon salsa in the middle, and add a dollop of creme fraiche, if desired.

Notes:

This dish is inspired from a recipe by UK cook, Delia Smith. Begin to soak the beans the night before. * Black beans are from health food and gourmet food stores.

I am pants on head ******ed but I can plainly see that nowhere does it say that he "excelled" in the ranks of sansha. Nor dose it indicate in any way that sansha favor autistics and this is supported in that he is the ONLY autistic sansha in the game.


I restate my case that there should be more representation for autistic people in sanshas is it is indeed the case that they are NOT shunned.

Absolutely not...apparently.

Though seriously, Sansha's nation is a hive mind. They don't connect via messages but pure thought and emotion. Why would you want someone who can't easily read another person's thoughts or emotions? Autistics can't do it via expression or body language, why would brain implants make it so much easier? That one officer NPC works out because Sansha has become a replacement father figure for the one who rejected him. Parental love trasmitted straight into your brain 24/7...no wonder he makes a great officer.
