Depends who Ackadia is and why would CCP care what happens on Twitter anyway? As for the CSM boozing it up in Iceland, it doesn't surprise me at all. What does surprise me is that they can be whisked off to an emergency meeting in Iceland in such short notice. What do they do with their lives? lol |

interesting read, but about YOUR comments... That is one member, and that is Mittani, wtf did you expect. Helicity knew damn well what he was doing, but you would be surprised how many bans you could throw out if you post local chat harassment ever. Plus, that wasn't a correspondence through eve at all, so they really don't have much jurisdiction there unless they have some kind of code of conduct for the csm. Last, you sound butthurt, i think a monocle would make you feel better. |

Are they really being "whisked" off to an emergency meeting, or is it just a bunch of drunken college kids getting a free vacation to Iceland? I'm actually very familiar with this situation - DEFCON used to be a convention where nerds get together and talk about computers and hacking, now it's just a bunch of idiots getting drunk and ****ing *****s. There was even a twitter update by one member begging the other members of the CSM not to get drunk because they have an important job to do. And of course nobody listened. So the CSM meeting is a huge disaster, I doubt a lot of them will even leave their hotel rooms to show up due to hangovers and tequila sh*ts. |

Let me see, transatlantic flight, two days of meetings, interspersed with people chewing my ears off, and tweeting with a-holes. Having to consume multiple drinks just so I don't shoot myself listening to the PR flacks. Definitely not a vacation. F*cking wh*res might qualify though. Now if CCP paid for the wh*res, then I think you guys might have a point. P.S. Why was wh*res added to the naughty word list in the last 9 minutes? That might be conspiracy theory worthy. |

I don't blame him for having getting drunk before the "emergency summit." He knows nothing he says really matters anyway so why try to be articulate?
The point of his being there is not to give ccp any sort of analysis. The point of the emergency summit is to take whatever concessions CCP wants to offer, and claim a victory! That is what CCP wants as well. It will be good pr and make the dumber players happy.
CCP can then continue to neglect eve except for incarnatransactions yet still have people blindly resubbing!
How can anyone in their right mind really think that CCP wants to hear analysis from these guys before they dictate their policy? They already heard directly from the players. |
