dear ccp I’m writing this thread in the hope that you will realize that is was perfect, just the way it was just buggy, see eves biggest problem is you DONT AVERTISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you think that just advertising on the internet is good, then that’s the biggest mistake so many companies make. I heard of eve only through a news article years ago , not internet it was about Chinese game farming , and I thought the game they were playing was cool, so I found the site eventually and joined and was almost happy just sick of lack of support and bugs.


But the latest attempt to bleed our wallets further, was the last straw so I’m posting this tread in hope that that you will realize the lack of new players is for a few simple reasons. and ill list a few why you lose players (before the incarna ) , well first of all companies that rely wholly on internet always go broke, as they think the internet is bees knees, well it has to be backed up as 90 percent of people turn adds off if they can,or simply ignore them I do and so does everyone I know see all the games on play station and all the other xbox and counterparts survive and thrive, is one simple reason the television ad, showing people how cool the game really is. and these companies thrive because if they have cool game, is not enough, you have to get to a bigger audience it’s called a simple tv add.



If I had seen a add for eve years ago then it would have made me join then. but instead you put ads on pages that not many people see, and chances are, they skip them as most on internet surfing are not interested in adds. you have to think about the big picture, if you want players and you will have to fix a few problems, one people hate micro transactions, and now for the biggest one, and its one that you know people will do and that’s phone you all companies have phone support, so that if a player loses something they can call you ,and get it fixed instead of waiting ages for it to get answered in petitions. well a phone petition would be simpler use a call centre, everyone else does they are cheap India would love the work, but you need support and if you want to make money, I don’t know if you ever heard the adage you have to spend money to make money .


the only reason I make money is I use this medium tv and it does work, I have tried all other forms yes word of mouth is good but if you use tv as you are trying to get kids and nerds, these time slots are always the cheapest by the way try it advertise in Australia for a test, worldwide companies have been using Australia for a test ground for years due to our population size it’s easy to get percentages results for the amount spent, and trust me Australia is star trek mad, they would love eve. but problem is, all my mates since I started out of all them that joined all quite due to no support, back then the was no isk 3.0, if you had that they may have stayed but I lost two mates last Friday when they un-subbed and quite.


Can’t you see you gave player a fantastic game the only problem is you DON’T advertise!!!!!!!!!!!!! it you have done there would be the need to ruin eve with micro transactions, try advertising use Newcastle Australia it cost about two thousand to reach all in hunter valley area. I predicated 1% sales increase when I tested a new product from unadvertised to advertised, and my product is haberdashery and I got 500% increase in sales’ this is the true problem with eve!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all that read this if you had seen eve advertised on television would you have played then, and is not the fact than phone support is issue with some of you have you say, those of you business man and women tell them what they need to here and maybe they stop trying to rip of us, and advertise like they should, and eve would grow.


Subscription is great no extras it’s the best selling point a game ever had. yet if micro transactions stay you will lose the best selling point a game ever had. by the way if you want sales advise feel free to employ my company, but only if micro transaction don’t exist anymore, else it’s a waste of time if I can take the seediest nightclub/strip show on the gold coast and turn it into the number one night spot on the coast then I could help eve just on the advice I just gave you ( ps nightclub was 1987 to 1994) these days I am in a different business but without tv a business can die.


So stop trying to milk money from existing loyal players who are now eve protesters they are protesting to save eve not to destroy it. so ccp wake up to yourself and fix what you have ruined roll back to incursion, make walking in stations a separate game don’t ruin our sandbox please
