Why not the following:

1. Proper turret placement. YOu have to place turrets on the ships in specific locations that way that side of the ship has to be facing the enemy, instead of having a bunch of turrets on the ships and it jsut autopicking which one to fire from....this would lead to.....

2. direct control of the ships. While having a flighttick type control would obviously be a bit much on bandwidth/server load, at least some kind of path plotting instead of WoWish CLICK TO WALK/FLY HERE

3. A BETTER/customizable UI. I have a 37 inch HDTV and even then, text is way to small, especially considering the distance I like to sit back at.....and when I was tested last year I have 20/10 vision so its not like Im blind by any means. The text is jsut so damn small, its pathetic. I wish when I clicked the tabs to open market/character sheet/etc would close if I click them again, as well as having a better window managment setup...like a task bar or something

4. a better sensor interface. I wish using sensor probes was a bit more.....fun, because I jsut LOVE looking for lifeforms, those little life forms...where are they? I dont know because the sensor UI sucks.

5. iPad/android app support. Id love to have the ability to use my iPad with eve in game, be it maps, targeting, using sensors, chatting, etc.

6. while i understand the whole 'pod pilot' idea, it would be nice to have a cockpit/bridge view like in X-2 where you can see the sensors, targeting, comms, etc

7. monkeys. this game lacks monkeys.
