Do the missions you get from the pirate factions in 0.0 typically involve you killing the empire factions? What I'm wondering is if I will kill my ability to go back into high sec if I do missions for the pirate factions. |

Well, it's Pirate missions so I would think so.
Probably have encounter missions against Empire and Concord as well as against other Pirate Factions. Guess if you watch your standings and be picky about which missions you accept, probably could keep access to Empire space. |

Pirate missions are heavily focused on empire faction rats. You do get a sprinkling of EoM/Merc missions, but the majority will be empire/CONCORD. So on the one hand you can get a very high ISK/hr, but on the other... well you're working for a pirate faction. Your ability to function in polite society may be impaired. It's worth noting that the pirate agents will focus on their 2 enemy factions. Angel agents mostly give missions against Gallante and Minmatar, for instance. You're not closing off the entirety of hi-sec by working for any one pirate faction. |

easiest way to do it without burning empire standings is to use a fresh alt to get the missions while using your main to run them. as a side effect, you wont have to grind pirate standings back up from -10 or w/e due to highsec missioning. |

Edited by: Karajishi on 22/07/2011 19:29:38 The answer to standings loss is jump clones. Have one in a high-sec mission system with an empire faction & one in null. The standing loss from pirate missions really isn't that bad. Especially with a spot of empire missions too (just avoid missions against the pirates you work for). |

You still get standing losses through "SHIP KILL" transactions for killing any of the main factions ships so your main will be affected for that as it will be doing the shooting. Unless this has changed recently, it was one of the reasons I stopped doing the Sansha missions in stain a few years ago. |
