I feel sorry for the people who are so poor they cannot afford a monocle.
To express my sorrow, and show that rich people do have feelings, I will give a monocle away at Jita 4.4 to the pod-pilot who is the first to contract the Ford Mondeo of the Skies to me. That's right, poorlings, the first pilot who contracts a Bog-Standard, Paupers Edition™ Common-or-Garden Raven to Rover Vitesse will receive a monocle. Don't worry about fitting or rigs, just a scrub peasant repackaged Raven will do.

I have no problem with the this. Think its funny even. If I had any complaint it would be that the mono is not really cool enough of a item. I mean in AION you can buy light saber skins for your swords. Now thats cool.

Whilst it's true that monocle owners do get better access to CCP in terms of feedback and petitions (I was surprised to see an additional option in the petition section for monocle owners to get a quicker response), I cam assure you I am no dev alt. I am merely an elite player who wishes to own fine accessories. |

Please simple peasants. For all of you who can not comprehend how superior Butter Dog's trolling is, I will explain it.
It's a common misstake to believe that a troll needs to be subtle to be successfull. Many people trying to mimic the masters will make this misstake, as is seen in alot of other situations aswell. The lesser players will go for the gimmick tactics, much like a player using a cheese strategy in an RTS, trying to set traps in EVE or the guys that run the same heroes in HoN every game to do their trick.
A true elite player don't need no dirty tricks, we leave them to the lesser players. A real master manage to troll people, even if they know it's a troll before opening the thread. I don't expect you all to understand this, but this is the reason we wear monocles and not you! |
