Nice monocle. I'm loving how this useless piece of content is actually having an impact on our behaviours. As more people buy them I wonder if secret monocle envy is arising within the rest of us. It's fascinating to observe. I went onto SiSi last night and did some space barbie dress up and I have to say that once those Captain's Quarters doors open to the station this whole vanity item stuff is really going to take off. Some of the clothing on SiSi is really well designed. CCP clearly have a plan and a vision for where they are taking this and I'm looking forward to watching it unfold.
I predict that the right-eye monocle will be discontinued some time soon (maybe Incarna 1.1 patch) so as to make it exclusive to those people who jumped in first. It'll become the ultimate status symbol. heh |

The monocle thing is just satire.
All the people acting like superior, upper class douche bags are really not bad (there are exceptions). And everyone else is not a peasant or sub-human.
They are just representing how the developers and upper management at CCP feel about the players/consumers.

Im sure the people who bought monocles are fine people in RL. In my opinion these characters with monocles are a symbol of CCP lies and greed.
I dont mind the vanity items and would probably buy something if I actually cared about walking in stations. I dont want to see non vanity introduced but I think Dust will break that. I'm optimistic about the CSM meeting, but I am ready to rage and protest this weekend if the news out of Iceland is bad.
Hopefully on Friday we get a Devblog or announcement.
