So with this widespread protest throughout jita, amarr, and other big trade hubs, I post in local ONCE on my alt "If your quitting, I don't Mind If You Transfer Me You Isk And Items" (hey you never know, someone i know made 10.5 bill and a lot of items from someone quitting) i switch back to my main character and this is what i see when i post a simple "hello" in local - "You have been gagged by GM Stardust until 2011.06.25 00:11:57. GM Stardust's reason was: You have been gagged for 60 minutes for spamming public channels. Please allow some time to pass before repeating previous messages.."
Is this really how CCP is going to be? There going to gag people for NO reason? Really? If you Ask me it's really sad that they have to gag people for no reason. For this Now i can't do any op's with my corp mates, alliance mates or anything, Thanks alot GM Stardust, Now im without My voice, and missiong out on missions and making isk... All i have to sya to other players is,GIVE UP TRYING TO PROTEST as it seems they are just going to mass gag people, Really sad that they are doing that to people who haven't done anything wrong... You Can't Send Messages, Can't Type In Corp Chats, Can't Type in Alliance Chats,... So Thanks a lot GM Stardust... ruining peoples games for no reason...
And im still in amarr, And There are people spamming like crazy, within .5 seconds someone has posted 3 messages all within .5 seconds of each, and is still talking?
Anyways since it looks like i can't do anything all thanks to the game masters freaking out, fly safe o/

Err...you were spamming '**** YOU CCP' in every channel throughout the protests, and I know I blocked you. Dude, you had it coming. Everyone else kept it to a line or two of rant and shot the monuments. |

You do realize this is a game right? Would you get as concerned in real life? I think the larger issue of 'repression' is the fact that people turn a blind eye to huge issues, then inflate their egos and fuss about nonexistent issues.

I'm encountering players like you constantly today, all relatively new, without corp, that claim to be old players. I called one out in Couster today that it was a CCP plant to attempt to discredit the protesters, and I'm calling the same on you. Feel free to discredit this accusation-I expect you to sound the same. If you're not a plant, then you're one of the fools who's willingly bent over to let CCP **** you in the ass, without even the courtesy of using lube. Go back to kissing their feet and get out. |

No GM Stardust gagged a bunch of people in amarr all within seconds of each other. im not hte only one getting gagged for saying something once in local Stardust went on a gag hammer fest |

The gagging is only happening to those who are complaining or voicing an opinion that does not agree with ccp i was gagged for saying ccp has let us down by gm horse who at the same time allowed others to spam support for ccp also as pointed out in this thread players spam every day in jita with out gag. this should be seen for whatit is the gm's doing what ccp wants them to silence as many as they can so they can make it look as tho it is only a few stiring up other when in fact it is many unhappy with the lies ccp and there gm's have been telling |

WTF happened to this game. I just came back from WOT because of the macro tyranny's are killing the game. First resub in 6 months. now the crap is here too? I'm just going to have to find something else now. I pay a monthly fee to play this game. If the rich ***z and the corp isk hores will be the only ubers in this game then I'm gonna be out again.  |

This character is 4 years old, and I've been in my corp of 2 years. You've really lost it if you think your "cause" for protest is really that important to be as paranoid as you are. Likewise, I could claim you're all plants for Perpetuum Online, and it'd be far more appropriate imo, judging from the latest forum and channel activity. |

and if you've invested as much money as 4 years takes, you should be a lot madder that they're so blatantly disrespecting the people who keep their company alive. The problem (or part of it) is that CCP has developed a feeling of immortality. They feel invincible because of how much they've grown. They've forgotten then all their progress is ONLY possible because of US, their payed subscribers, who keep their cash flow coming. They fail to realize (or plainly disregard) that by ignoring the voices-or gagging them-of those who keep them paid will result in a cataclysmic drop in the pillars of the community, and many others will be far more hesitant to pay for both a subscription, and everything within the game itself. CCP is lying to us all by omission of truth, and you're at all surprised at the outrage? |

Maybe you haven't noticed that people pay real money for this game. It is their RIGHT as paying customers to voice their frustrations regardless of YOUR opinion to the contrary. If you support what CCP is doing, that is YOUR right as a paying customer. But your rights end where mine and others begin. If CCP wants to ban or gag people, that is THEIR right as the owners of said product. It's a stupid thing to do, but then it appears that they are already taking a page out of the single most stupid MMO company on the planet, Sony Online Enema, and applying it to a game we all love. People are passionate and speaking out, not because they hate the game, they are passionate and speaking out because they DO love the game and are fedup with being treated as if their concerns over where their money is being spent is falling on deaf ears. |
