simple really, its an opposition to CCPs recent and "proposed" actions for Eve, and unsubscribing is the only voice left to show that these folks don't like these current changes and those "proposed" changes. If CCP backs down on their plan, many of these folks, including myself would resub, unless another game comes around that may draw my attention :))

No one asks to QUIT. We CARE about this game, clearly too much than ccp (to which EVE is just -quote-cash cow to found other projects -unquote-.
We're unsubbing, not quitting, exactly because we do NOT want to see EVE dead.

What we want to do here is to SEND THAT ******ED CCP CEO A MESSAGE. Money is the only language Mr. Hilmar and Mr. Zulu seems to understand, so if they see HUGE drop in profits from subscription, it will force them to re-prioritize EVE development.

Sad to say I canceled all three of my accounts yesterday.

Five years in this game, not a bad run I guess.

For me it's not even about the "micro" transactions. It's that these developers are no longer developing the game I signed up to play.

Had only one on autorenew which I just canceled. Just sad one of em had just started on a 3month plan :( .. rest are 1 month.

In due time though it might be all 3. I'm in no way in the "biomass, rage, leaving" camp, but I have to say I didn't know ccp management was this weak and clueless. I understand some of the reactions from lowlevel peons... CCP this, CCP that and GM Derp saying "Go away you juvenile cretin" but you simply do not treat customers this way. The butterfly effect go past the juvies too. If they regard only customers who want to talk to them about things they like talking about (new "exciting" features, what riches their claimed Icelandic genius can spawn etc) as not immature troll posters; even if the reactions from some are exactly that, the way of apology when warranted + clear, informed answers to questions asked is the only way to do customer support.

Oh well, was contemplating enjoying summer without assembling the game rig.. trying to best sort skilltraining while waiting for cold, dark autumn. Now I know there is no need for contemplation.

I won't renew my and following accounts till the expansion we all waited for YEARS has turned to a disguisting bull***t.

-4 my friends accounts who don't give a **** about eve-o, but all of them were loyal subscribers for about 5 years.

So total of 8.
Does it cost 52 monocles per 40 hours after Incarna launch, CCP?
