Edited by: Tobiaz on 30/06/2011 06:49:09Just out curiosity I started to keep track of the people that have stated to have either cancelled their account or are going to let it run out.
Of course this list needs to be taken with a fair bit of inherent margin error. But this is the only way we, the players, will ever be able to get an estimate of the Incarnage. CCP will never give us these numbers.
If you've seen any posts by people that are not already on the list, or you are on the list inaccurately. Leave a post with a link in this thread, I'll come back, check and update it every few hours. And I'll keep updating the list for as long as there are new names to be added.
"my corpies also quit" or "my brother -3"

Sorry but I'm only putting down unsubbers with an actual name (possible exception for GFs). I don't want to risk doubles, enough trolling already.
The
list and the tally so far:
2589 people cancelling or not renewing a total of 5836 accounts. While it may not seem much, EVE can't afford to bleed players at this rate for long. Players that will take their friends with them and tell others to stay away from EVE and go play another MMORGP.
I just want to add that reading all these names, some of them very old or familiar, just makes me even more disappointed with this eyecandy-wrapped vendingmachine that goes for an expansion. CCP should be very ashamed of itself, but too appearently it's got its head too far up its corporate butt. How many of CCP upper echelon is actually playing this game? Idiots...

Ok after that disgrace of a dev-blog by CCP Zulu this thread pretty much exploded. I'm working on adding all the names, but I'd be much obliged if people could help me out a bit. Just so I don't have scour all the threads, if you see posts on the forum, link them here. And if you see people in-game that are quitting, tell them to post here as well.

Ah I see that arrogant Hilmar managed to make it even worse...
"Currently we are seeing _very predictable feedback_ on what we are doing. Having the perspective of having done this for a decade, I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change."YOU HEARD THE MAN, PROVE HIM WRONG, CRUSH HIS STUPID PLANS, DRIVE THAT MT-PROFIT IN THE GROUND!
Don't let CCP's management poison this game any further or waste your money on other games. Demand proper expansions for your money. CCP has gotten the taste of Aurum and it will only get worse from here on. Want to pay extra for gamemechanics? Or people buying SP, sov or items that bunnyhop the player-drive market?
CCP needs a hard lesson. And how they treated us the last few days is unacceptable! Use your power as a consumer to say 'NO MORE'. We can afford to stop playing a lot easier then they can afford us doing so.

Listened to the
CSM-podcast of EVE-Radio and become even more disillusioned about CCP. Me and my two brothers, Fabster and Peppo are cancelling, that's -4. I blame you, Hilmar.

"I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what our players do and less of what they say" goes for CCP too.
