Maybe you should actually learn about the protest's reasons, like :

1. CCP dont work on the game anymore, they simply wants to add a shop in it, and Incarna is its premisces.
2. CCP dont communicate with the community, since they have no interst in answering the gamers wishes anymore (but to make quick money with the stupidest of them).

The protesters' concern is that CCP is by-passing the community, which is the main value of any MMO. If the community has no grip on eve's universe anymore, then it also have no bound.

That's why there are protests. Not Incarna, not the monocle, not the AUR, but the lack of trust, the lack of love, the lack of concern about Eve, the gamers and the future of this community.

(strt)

We live in distressing times, but the EVE player base is the kind of community that will stand up to any adversity thrown our way. That, we have certainly done this weekend. First we have the forum, an amazing show of organized outrage that has blown all previous records out of the water several times over, with over 10 thousand posts and over 9 million characters typed. It is an amazing display of the force of will that our community possesses

But we have done more than just be outspoken against a game destroying path for the virtual world that we choose to inhabit. We've set a benchmark for any online community in speaking out against the complete disregard of their concerns.

Naturally, we have caught the attention of the in the industry. Less than 1000 players maintaining a permanent blockade in both Jita and Amarr have ben written up in nearly every major online gaming publication, and in 24 hours have upstaged 6 months of development efforts of a 700 employee corporation. This is what this release cycle will be remembered for.

Currently we are seeing a _very predictable response_ to what we are doing. Having the perspective of playing this game for a half a decade, I can tell you that this is one of the moments where we look at what the developers do and less of what they say. Big businesses take time change their course, and the predictable reaction is always to resist change.

We went out with a decisive strategy of protest and we will stay the course. That is not saying nothing will change, on the contrary, when the developers can put together an appropriate response to our questions we will re-evaluate the necessity of continued demonstration. Up until this point our actions have spoken loudly and clearly, and it is now our turn to carefully watch the developers actions and adapt our response to _what they are actually doing_

All that said, I couldn't be prouder of what we have accomplished as a community. changing the world is hard but changing the course of a company is even harder. Succeed or fail, both we, and the game of EVE will be better off for it.

Hee is an exerpt from one of the employee reviews on Glassdoor.com it explains a lot of what is going on:

"CCP does not take criticism well and often ignores retrospectives. Criticism is considered to be a negative attitude and is severely frowned upon. A lot of effort goes into maintaining a good morale with a lot of internal PR. After all it’s cheaper to print posters than pay an average salary to employees.

Several years now CCP has predicated insane subscriber goals that cannot be met. Naturally this is met with scepticism by the employees but it falls on deaf ears. The result is that the company is suffering because we cannot sustain the development of EVE, DUST and WOD. EVE is not creating enough revenue which means that solutions are sought, solutions that CCP was vehemently against a few years ago."

It will be very well written, odds are that it will not adress the frustrations and questions that keep this community in an uproar,... Should however there be an answer that's clear and to everyone's satisfaction, than i can tell you for damn sure that those protests will be over within the houre when all people have red the post.

Yes, i have been at one of those protests when on eve-radio the last document was released and the oment it hit eve radio it took exactly 15 seconds for a link to appear in the local chat. Your trust and views in this community are deeply sadning as these protest will also affect you. P2W WILL bite you in the ass if left unchecked, and at the moment, this community is checking it.

So before calling the people that actualy have experiance with the behaviour and a sence of foresight do what they feel is right. If you don't feel it's apropriate, stay away from this forum and stay away from the strike locations.

But seeing you are here to post your dismay and start calling people that are trying to prevent a P2W system being applied to eve "idiots" it's obviouse that you are to new to eve to even grasp the scope of this betrayal,... Start reading all prior 350+ pages of posts and come back when your done reading every single one of them (including the links) that should keep you silent till the big boys are done with their jobs of taking it up for you and the rest of the community.

Chances are that after monday, the children like your selve can continue their obliviouse ways in EVE without the bother of people that care.
