I dont normally post in threads like this but truth be told I am seriously concerned about where EVE is going at the moment, the issue's with CQ i can live with althought to be honest I think we should be able to choose to have the old view still.

The issue of things being overpriced on the NEX market is not an issue to me as I cannot rationalise buying plex to convert as well as the subscription fee on my account.

My worries stem from the fear that in order to play this game that I have loved for over 5 years now for its great scope and its fairness risks being destroyed by the introduction of items that offer a gameplay advantage to those who are prepared to pay real word money to buy.

To put my greatest fears to rest and I belive the source of most of the 'rage' from everyone on the forums please just confirm to us will SP or items that offer an advantage over those you do not use the NEX store be made avalible?

The only reason there has been such an uproar about this is because we care about this game and we wish for it to remain great, please tell us the truth CCP so at least we know and we can make our choices from here.

This is my first post on the forums, and it may very well be my last.

CCP, to be completely honest, we are not idiots. We understand you only keep eve running to make money, and if monocles will make you money, by all means make monocles. What is ****ING ALL OF US OFF is that you chose to put vanity items in the game to boost your bottom line, rather than address some of the (long standing) gripes of the community.

Lastly, something I don't think you have considered, it won't tke 50% of your player base leaving over incarna to ruin eve. If 1000+ accounts jump ship from rage, how many people do you think will leave out of boredom whn their friends aren't around?

You know... Everything told in here obviously might not be true, but still if you calculate 1 + 1, it pretty much explains all the junk what has been going on for ages already.

I quote the "best" bits below and you guys can deside does it even matter anymore will they stay in vanity only or not. Personally I think that EvE is empty shell at best if the entire management doesn't change.

EVE is not creating enough revenue which means that solutions are sought, solutions that CCP was vehemently against a few years ago.

The longer you stay the less you start to care about the game you develope, because no one else does."

Rather its a prime example of how bad decisions equal bad business.
EvE has been 1 of the few MMO's to grow in the otherwise WoW dominated MMO business.

Thanks much, Velicitia, but I don't think there is enough organization here for your effort to be worthwhile. This is a flash-mob, not a fleet. :)

I gave a shout out on the "MASS-PROTEST" channel to see what people needed here in Jita but got no response. (None that I could see, anyway.)

I'm using Lead in Railguns (flying a Hippie) and can easily afford to drop a few million ISK in order to uselessly shoot at the monument in order to make a point. In fact, I've not undocked yet since buying a batch after the last time I shot the guns dry. Been too busy splitting my attention across too many locations and trying to make 'useful'/educational posts in local rather than just shove crap/spam there.

Apologies in the delay responding to you, but I'm just not keeping up well enough with this thread.
