This is my 3rd? or 4th post to the eve forums i do not troll or flame these boards out of habit.Its this simple given ccp's lack of action over botting and RTM it seems to me they are going to throw in the towel as other mmo's have and just try to cash in instead of fixing issues.IT is this simple of CCP starts selling high end ships or other I WIN items for null sec we ( myself and my wife) will close our accounts. So if that lands us in the rage cage with all the other trolls so be it. EVE as been all about the journey or build to fight and win a place in nullsec. If CCP sells I WIN items there is no reason to log on. This all reminds me of the Joke about Warcrab holding your hand the whole way and giving you a cookie at lvl80. Eve was the game that would slap you and steal your cookie.IF this comes to pass CCP better learn how to bake cookies...your new fan base is going to expect them.  |

Just saw that and read the post. Very disappointing. This signals to me that in fact our concerns are not something they care about, CCP is moving forward on this reckless path. If my comments make me a bitter vet in that I'm not happy the game I've played for nearly 4 years is becoming something completely foreign to me, then so be it. I don't think EVE is the game I fell in love with anymore. |

The chief complaint is micro transactions. Prices are one thing, but you must address the leaked newsletter and the direction on MTs that affect game progression, such as faction eta digs, ammunition, and ships.

CCP, looks like it's time to get back to the drawing board. End the thought of having MT in the game. Fix the graphics overload caused by your marginal upgrade that few care about. Get back to making upgrades that enhance player enjoyment, good market opportunities, upgraded ships and fittings. Listen to your customer base. Before I rage threat to cancel my accounts, I'll play the wait and see game. Admit failure and move on. |

~i have no issue with mittens for once. whilst i find him a obnoxious, condescending **** most days, i recognise that this is the role he has chosen for his in-game persona (i apologise if it is indeed your true character and i have misrepresented you). aside from my personal feelings, he is csm, and it is his team that should be bat-phoning, emailing or basically knocking down the door fo ccp on our behalf - if ccp is not workign with the csm on any decisions of this magnitude, then they are, once again, negligent of their comitment to the eve playerbase. seleen has been fantastic in his vociferous visibility on these forums, i would hope and pray that ~OUR csm is indeed pulling together as a cohesive unit to voice major concerns to the as shats at CCP who have once again taken an ill-advised path on the rocky road to mayhem. trust is the issue, blatant lies, mistruths, misdirection and a complete lack of understanding. if i hear one more word from CCP about prices of shi tty monacles that no one (other than them) really cares about, i will unsub my final account too. thank you mittens and the csm - i hope you can make more progress than the masses seem able to - before it is truely too late. ~yours, ex. lisa herrick |
