Since the vocal minority have flooded the forums with tears of their computers overheating I felt I would post to say my rig runs fine. My partners rig runs fine. My two best friends have no problems running it. Ten other people I game with have no problems running it.

Good Job, CCP. But your clothes prices are silly.

To those who are claiming their computers are overheating you can stop your e-tears. CCP isn't going to roll the game back for you. While a few of you might actually have overheated most are just jumping on the bandwagon. If you are overheating then it's time to update your system.

To those that are afraid they might overheat: If your system was built within the last 5 years it will shut down to protect itself should it overheat and will start back up without issue.

Same here - and my system didnt cost that much money.

Gaming is a bit like motorsport, if you are serious about either, you should be equiped for it. You cant go racing with a Metro and complain its overheating :)

Runs at 60 fps maxed out.

But i have had to loge 3 times in 10 minutes because systems and stations are not loading.

Incarna also runs fine on my machine, and i personally like it. But we also have to accept, that there are some people, who does not have the "latest high end machine" and discover, that their beloved game (maybe) now overstrains their hardware capabilities. Luckily it can be switched of in the options for the time being.

In my opinion a computer should not overheat. If it does, then the cooling system seems to be insufficiently dimensioned, blocked with dust, or other cooling problems.

It runs fine on my machines as well, without overheating.

That doesn't change the fact that removing functionality from the game and removing options that makes the game enjoyable and playable is just straight-up, A-grade ******ed as ****.

…the only thing that would match that level or idiocy would be to whine over players who want to retain those options and that functionality.

I can confirm CQ + Incarna work flawlessly on my system. I'm actually noticing quite dramatic speed increases in loading.

Keep in mind you are also part of the vocal minority. You just have differing opinions than others in the vocal minority.

Running fine (GTX 280, Core2Duo @ 3.6Ghz, 4GB RAM, 1920x1200 Monitor)
Enjoy mostly everything about the expansion, the one room is underwhelming but, the ground work has been laid, and hell we're able to walk around thats a feat.
AUR store is silly, in my opinion.

Yep, all settings max and still running smooth and clean for me at 1920x1200.

I hear the loading time for the station may take a while, maybe if the message is changed from "loading" to "Dressing" people would complain less lol

Besides, you dont like it/it is too much for your PC, you can always turn it off.

Downloaded today in the morning at work on my (relatively) new laptop (toshiba) and all goes smooth exept a few things:

Bit of module lagging while in CQ (for example when unloading your hulk).
Sounds seem a bit odd, as the only thing you hear is a loud sound when mining cyrcle starts, during those 3 mins all you can hear is the new "space wind".
From warping 10 times i only had the "warp tunnel effect" once, i wonder if it´s this laptop or a bug.
My mouse behaves strange when zooming in/out in CQ, turning the mouse wheel is making the camera go left/right with zooming in/out.

Anyway, environment is loading fast, not *much* slower than the old hangar view.

Well in this case they're the vocal majority now, and the vocal people are as a whole the minority now!

Well 1 Client running on "max" is just fine (and looks great) , 2 clients with the 2nd one running lower settings= both clients stuck around 13 fps and my poor old Intel Q6660 getting up and over 60 degrees.
Wich is bad for the first revisions of Intels old Quad-cores since they start Throttling at 60 degrees *raises fist against intel*

And before anyone says "THEY TOLD YOU SO"
Yes ive read the devblog and I said i'm running the 2nd client on basically the lowest settings and still getting that ><

Gpu is "feeling" fine, never goes over the 50 threshold, a HD 5850. (before smelly amd took over ati)

Anyways, stuff looks shiny so that's -something- I guess.

Same here, everything is working fine, AMD Quad + ATI, 2 clients running, from 2 separate folders, on different drives. Anti aliasing causes a bit of delay in typing in chat, and some windows take a bit longer to open than normally...thats about it.

I really think people are playing on some antiquated machines. Maybe that's what also causes lag.

And if people quit Eve due to overheating and graphics problems and delay due to slow processing, then thats good for the rest of us, as it might ease off the lag.
