Figured 'Heck, Ive never started a topic other than recruitment before' and noticed a few weird things in cq. Feel free to add to the list Very Happy

1. When walking away from docked ship towards quarters, ship appears to get larger by a substantial amount as you walk away.

2. Jump cloning - If you are in a ship (technically) but walking around station interior and try to jc, you get prompted to leave your ship before jc'ing. Hence you end up with a pod on the dock and one in the distance, (or Ive got a dusty screen lol).

3. After jump cloning to another station, all 'holo' buttons in cq's ceased to function, un-dock then re-dock fixes.

4. Managed to walk onto sofa, stuck until hitting undock button. (No jumping on sofa's Shocked )

Underlined the important part. Try holding up a ruler to the screen while you do that and notice what happens.

It's a trick of the perspective and of your brain not understanding the size of the thing due to the lack of depth cues.

Think about it this way: if you're standing 2km away from an oil tanker and move 30m towards or away from it, how much will it appear to change in size?

Railguns hang off the left side of my Megathron by a thread. Need to be repositioned.

Fired my blasters equipped to my Incursus and there were no effects outside of the muzzle blast. Nothing connecting to the NPC.

but apart from all the meshing errors, performance issue - and all the little features that are now broken, ill give you a picture as there worth a 1000 words and i am speechless about this whole travesty.

I found the Station environment button. If anyone else has trouble, it's on the Display and Graphics tab of the Esc menu, right pane, 4th checkbox from top.

Here's some more bugs for you out mining fight a rat and the audio sticks around like there are rats but none in sight. To get the sounds to disappear disable the sound and re-enable.

Another Ice mining sound doesn't persist like it used to.

Ice Harvester Beams are missing when you warp to a field until each person harvester completes a cycles and starts the next then they appear.

I flew to a belt to see the new strip miner animations. There were some belt rats there that did jamming. I killed them, but I kept being jammed even after they were dead. There isn't any damage being done though. So I wonder if there is a problem in missions with this as well? Haven't tested that.

Yeah I noticed that it doesn't actually change size, the trick of perspective is a little off putting and immersion breaking to myself at least. Shocked Wonder if its possible for ccp to mess with the perspective a little to make it less noticeable. Very Happy

I seen that "super duper natural lighting" effect on all my chars on a test already, so I was kinda prepared...

But I still can't stop laughing hysterically looking at yours Laughing

Sentry drones are still broken, instead of shooting, they blink, like space buoys... I do not see anything threatening about them at all as was promised

Anti-ailising seems to have been broken with this expansion even though settings say it is on high atm, horrid jaggies everywhere. Tried with ingame settings and forcing it through CCC with no results.

female chest proportions: Not visible in char creator, but they can look defenitely unnatural if one can move the camera above/below a bit..

Fix: Offer a body recustomistaion?

no cos its actually intended by design. and also pretty much impossible to alter without actually changing the ship distance/size as you walk down the gantry.
the illusion is mostly going on in your own head... good luck trying to reprogram that...Wink

It is actually the only point where the ships appear big, so I actually like it.
well I would if I hadn't disabled CQ on start-up.

ROFL! :D priceless.

Bombs and warp disrupt bubbles in low sec, melty face, CQ destroys midrange computers, EVE won't run at all on low end machines that worked fine yesterday and turrets that look like they're floating in space.

Awesome QA folks...Awesome.
