Angra - Winds of destination
Jason Becker - Perpetual Burn
Bjork - anything she sings on has a great singer, though I know some will disagree
Blind Guardian - everything, particularly their latest album and nightfall
David Bowie - everything
Deathstars - The mark of the gun
Dungeon - Lost in the light
Erben Der Schopfung - Alone
Falconer - Power
Peter Gabriel - Not one of us
Galneryus - Fate of the sadness
Kamelot - Ghost opera
King Crimson - Starless
kmfdm - Flesh
The Kovenant - In the name of the future
Yngwie Malmsteen - Far beyond the sun
Metal Church - Beyond the black
Moonspell - ...Of dream and drama
Tom Petty - Money becomes king - not normally a Petty fan, but this song really says it all
Queensryche - Revolution calling
Rammstein: everything, and their live show has to be the best in the world - if not, let me know what I'm missing!
Rob Halford - Twist
Royal Hunt - Tearing down the world
Silent Force - Infatuator - points for anyone that guesses the other song on this list also sung by this band's singer ;)
Sinergy - Me, myself, my enemy
Soundgarden - The day I tried to live
Strapping Young Lad - Far beyond metal
Wolf - At the graveyard

Also, while not one of my favorite songs, Seen and not seen by Talking Heads seems so fitting when updating your character's portrait...

There are other, better known bands and songs, that I like as well, but I figure everyone knows them so there's no need for me to mention them. But I don't only listen to "weird' stuff. ;)

Needs more metal. And can we get some cookie monster vocals in there? I hate them, but they're obligatory these days.
Also, that should be an option for a pet in Incarna. Well, a pet or a snack. At the least, it'd be cool to see them flying around during warp.

What I did listen to ... Fear Factory ...

One of my friends is a huge Fear Factory fan. We saw them some years ago, I guess during one of Children of Bodom's early US tours. After the show, he was adamant about trying to hang out with Fear Factory and we all got stuck camping out by their trailer for like an hour. All I can say is, it was cold out that night, and we knew it because at the beginning of their set when Bodom was introducing themselves, Alexi was like "We're from f'ing Finland! ... It's f'ing cold out!"

We never did see Fear Factory after that show; or rather, I guess we saw them go in their trailer and totally ignore their dedicated fans - not that I blame them... it *was* cold out! Some of the guys from Bodom came by and waved on the way to their trailer, but I don't think anybody knew who the hell they were at the time...
I told my friend I'm never forgiving him for that. I can still feel that night's chill.

I haven't heard of most of these guys. I did pick up an Agathodaimon cd a little while back. I like what they're doing, couldn't really name a song as a favorite though. I think you're a bit more on the black metal side of things than I am. I'll give the bands I don't know of a look though, there may be a few I'll enjoy.

(edit - corrected "death metal" to "black metal"... couldn't remember the right genre to say what I meant and was being lazy)

Out of 5.6k songs on my comp the top 10 songs which have the highest play count are.

(Note: I use to get high everyday and well lets just say I found a cool way of going back in time and having sex with an Egyptian, plus most stuff I like to play on the piano are from games).

1. Tristram (from D2) - No surprise there
2. This Masquerade (Carpenters)
3. Lovely Head (Goldfrapp)
4. Pharotek (from C&C) - Another piano project
5. Darkwhisper Gorge 1/2 (from Cata) - Another piano project + it is a great 'plotting' theme Twisted Evil
6. Muscle Museum (Muse)
7. Pagan Poetry (Bjork)
8. Spanish Heist (Alias)
9. La valse des monstres (Amelie)
10. One Winged Angel (Some FF Game) - My alarm clock sound

Tbh though looking at my 'list' I cant really say I am fussy when it comes to music.

As for EVE

1233. Borderlines :)

Never worked my way through the game, but I think that's Sephiroth's music in FF7. Awesome track, and the updated version in Advent Children was pretty cool. ;)
I love video game music, usually listen to older stuff like found on kohina.org though.

Actions and Motives by 10 Years is a song that has deep meaning to me as an eve player.

I am not the least bit surprised you listed "Blood on the Dance Floor" as one of your favorite bands.

Considering the lead singer is a huge pedophile and you have always had the mentality of a sociopathic 16 year old girl it all kind of makes sense.

For the record dahvie Vanity is an Ephebophile. Which means he likes girls between the ages of 15-19...

I hate to be the guy who has to edit his youtube videos.. So many underage girls run up to him and flash him wherever he goes and whoever edits his videos has to go through all that and edit it out. Makes his videos very interesting to watch.

I have one of their albums and I think they are actually pretty good, but they aren't one of my favorite bands. They deserve some credit for actually putting together coherent lyrics, which many bands in their genre don't. Then again, many bands in their genre aren't native speakers of English. Still, you'd think they'd run them by somebody that had a good grasp of the language so they don't sound ridiculous.
