I believe a few of them have been scammers.. wanting isk claiming to be at work... cant even talk to the FC... seems not very believable to me.

Misanth speaks the truth. You need to step back and take a good, hard look at your setup as well as activities and make corrections, or luck may not be so fortunate with you next time. There's a great wormhole guide at the Talocan United site that has a ton of info, as well as other sites. Don't be afraid to look things up or too stubborn to recognize and correct your mistakes.
