yay 1 of the most useless alliances in eve has quit they never fought for there space, they held hands with all the bff for years they ran and got whooped time after time with inferior numbers and now to top it all instead of fighting lets disband instead, typical cos theres no blob to hold and support them, only alliance more useless than you is space monkeys so long mostly useless cant say i,ll miss you, u achieved nothing in your eve life ha ha i,m laughing like mad i so hate nc and there pets so much  |

Trolling aside, I must admit that I'm genuinely surprised at how fast the NC fell. I think we're all perhaps guilty of believing their own claims that they would stand till the last against anyone who attacked them. BFF!
All the same, it's puzzling as to why they collapsed so quickly. My personal take on it is that the leadership were welded together (well they would be, they talk day in, day out, and jointly managed their takeover of the CSM) but that the day to day membership weren't really that bothered and just wanted risk free ratting and low risk PVP. The NC has, for years, had a policy of supporting whatever side they thought would win. I actually think that, in the old days, Fredo could have stuck by his principles, but capitulated to the will of the 'greater NC' and that that kind of acquiescence is where it all went wrong.
Either way, I'm genuinely surprised that they fell so fast, and I don't for a second think that this means they're going to disappear from 0.0 warfare.

Just goes to show how numbers truly are all thats needed, I see FA, FCON and BDEAL dying next for the obvious reasons LOL!! |
