I've looked at the patch notes, haven't seen this in a dev blog, and frankly google is not my friend. So I was trying to figure out now when you open the ship fitting tool it gives you the option to check which fittings get saved on the server, but does that mean it deletes those fitting from your local drive too? If you don't check any of them do they just stay local, or do you loose them. Just trying to be clear about what's happening before I start checking stuff, and there doesn't seem to be much info on how this works really.
Thanks! |

Edited by: Che Biko on 12/04/2011 21:57:47 I'm not sure, but I believe all new fittings will be stored serverside, up to 50, the rest will be saved locally. I didn't know what would happen if you didn't check them, so I just checked them all and be done with it.
But I agree, this could use some clarification.
Edit: I guess you would be best of mailing customer service in case no one here has the guts to find out. |

If they aren't, you can always export to file and save them locally that way. |

Thanks guys. I ended up just checking them all to put them on the server. Well 50 of them anyway, 6 that I had that would no longer "fit" on the server are gone. So yea, it seems if you don't check them, they disappear. But that's for a different thread. |
