500 millions would be OK. Fair price for the ticket to show "MWAAAA PLEX prices are growing again , now <put your carebearish impossible-to-pay-price here> millions more! I`m cancelling sub/ragequitting/starting poll/crying a river" |

Seriously, if people can't afford 30 dollars/euros a month(for 2 accounts), they really shouldn't be playing eve. They should go look for a job. |

Since it is quite possible to make 300M ISK/month per account without even playing the game for a month, I don't see that PLEX could fall below that figure without some serious stock-dumping going on.

I'm game for that. Considering how many people post how easy it is to make ISK, i'm sure they won't mind paying 1b for 60 days. |

as someone who has spent the last 2 years looking for a job (and failing so far) i resent that. having said that, i pay for my sub on a multimonth basis, it costs me $NZ5 a week, so its cheaper than going to the movies or even a sporting event |

You aren't looking hard enough or you're doing something else wrong if you can't find a job in two years. Having said that, some jobs don't pay you enough to afford two accounts anyway. |

Originally by: Herrring Ok, that was a bit inappropriate. Did not mean to be ignorant, but there are people that I know that won't bother looking for jobs and play eve like 15 hours a day and pay with plexes.
There are people I know who can't get jobs because of medical conditions - have you seen how fast a recruiter will run if you mention you have a back injury, meaning you can't lift things or sit upright? Even worse, if you're diagnosed with a mental illness like schizophrenia, very few employers will want to touch you. There are also those people I know who just don't "get" maths. As a result, they have really good skills in trades, but their lack of mathematical aptitude means they can't get any certification in those trades. So they're awesome tilers, plumbers, carpenters, cabinet makers, car mechanics, etc, but just because they can't divide by 11, they don't get their certification. No certification means no job. Then there are the PhDs. You know what the PhD said to the MBA? "Do you want fries with that?" LOL These guys are "over-qualified" - recruiters look at their resumés and think, "this guy is going to get bored of this job within 6 months and I'll be looking for someone else to hire." So they skip the over-qualified types. I've known "over-qualified" types who tried omitting details on their resumés, but then somewhere in the interview they talk about their doctorate or thesis or something like that, at which point the interviewer will suss them out, ask why the applicant lied on their resumé, and boot them out of the building. But enough about folks who can't get jobs, regardless how hard they try. The secret to keeping PLEX prices high is to remind people that they can play EVE for free! |
