So just kind of a discussion post. I am never worried about selling and item, every item evetually sells and worse case I can always liquidate at buy orders and break even or lose a little.

My question is this:

I belive putting an item at a sell price that is in the middle or lower middle will eventually sell and I do not have to .01 isk war. However I find it tougher to secure items and find that I do have to battle to get the items.

I was surprised to find that even though I was most likely .01 iskd I was still able to secure my items at the price I put the buy order up. Would it simply be better to place the order and let it sit, or does .01 isk really make the difference. I mean yea if you need it within 10 mins but oes it really make a difference to a trader? Thoughts? I always thought if people could just get the concept of your order will be filled there would be less .01 isk wars?
