In fact you could have little microchips and a small speaker embedded in the base of each model. Then when you bring an Amarr ship near a Minnie ship, the two would make pew pew noises You could even have lighting fitted in to the top armature of the stand!

Now if you could make it with a base like this model globe

floating globe

It would be even more win!!

Oh my god my brain is totally geeking out with ideas of a display unit with those magnetic bases built into the shelves so the ships appear to float inside the cabinet!!!!!!
