HI,

Is there anyway of going back in and changing your characters appearance once you have finalized the process?

thanks

never mind , I just found the latest blog which says :

"re-customization for All

So, we have this incredible character customization system now, but you can only use it once which seems like kind of a shame, really. It would make more sense to just let you change your character whenever you're in a station. Done. When the update goes live, character re-customization will be added as a new option in the station services list. You will be whisked into the character creator, where all the cosmetic options within the current character creation system will be available for you to adjust and change."

so thats a yes then :)

Right now, no.
A bit later, yes : Linkage
When exactly is "a bit later" is anybody's best guess... a few days, a couple of weeks, a month...

See I hate my Brut (sp) heritage. It makes me look like I'm from African decent. While I'm not a racist, I'm male and I'm white. Therefore I like playing a male/white character and sucks that I can't change this. I've tried to "lighten" up my skin as much as possible but it sucks.

I'm not racist before anyone pulls that card, I was given a 55mil SP char that was female and chose to continue with my 1.4 mil SP char as it was male.

It's a "partially".

On Sisi there is (was?) a new customization option in stations but it won't let you adjust shapes; just hair, tattoos/scars, clothes and make-up (not sure about eye colour). No nosejobs or skin tones - it's all in the blog Akita T linked. You also have to remake your portrait photo every time you make use of it which should be optional imo.

@Violence Thor and yes, I'd also be in favour of a (one time) bloodline change option.

Im with you on this 100% , I resubbed last night and every permutation I choose , my character looks like an african male , its a complete immersion breaker for me, as it not at all what i had imagined my man to look like...

(hence the closeup of the bald head in protest)

Maybe the art in character generator (pre-selection of bloodline) and the depiction of Minmatar as a cross between a Harriet Beecher Stowe novel and Waterworld was to be some indication that you may indeed have chosen a character that draws influence from recorded human history coupled with slave ingenuity, preserverence over their masters and revolt.

I do not understand how people failed to see before the character creation revamp that the Brutor were always darker skinned and of african descent Confused

Ya, I don't get it either. You spend half an hour making your character. You can go back any time during this process, and you never realize the guy looks african? I think its pretty obvious from the beginning and has been obvious since this game came out. FYI, there's also an Asian bloodline in case you can't see that either. Watch out! Rolling Eyes

Yes the Vhorokior, Khanid and Achura already looked extremely asian in the old days!

No wait .........

The Broker changes his name and appearance all the time. We are capsuleers, so I don't see why we shouldn't have these options as well. It would make infiltration and corp manipulation much more viable a career path...

The Broker was a special case, and no one knew how he did what he did. And in the end he paid the price for it, not being able to able to inhabit bodies for shorter and shorter time periods before dying.
