Answer, "no where"
It's the 22nd here in South Australia, meaning that for me fanfest is only 4 days away. What's the test server look like? Besides something in the neighborhood of 5-6 builds over the last week, and the changes to the creator, it looks pretty much the same.
CCP Chilliad who told us this feature would be present on SiSi before fanfest, must have made this boast completely of his own volition and with out communication with senior staff. As it's blatantly obvious that CCP's "Focus" on "Excellence" is a little blurred.
It's things like this CCP, that make players loose faith in you as a company. A promised feature that players here wish to test, with you the devs, to give you honest feedback and bug reports so you can make it a great solid feature and addition to the game and you drop the ball and resend a promise to have the feature up for testing with no word what so ever to your player base.
Something like, "Due to unforeseen circumstances and major code and deployment issues, we are going to delay CQ's launch on SiSi for testing, we apologize for the delay" would net responses like "well crap, gota wait to test this but at least they care enough about it and us to let us know they are having trouble."
Also, the new neocom you guys were working on that we could beta test on SiS, where the world did it go? it up and vanished with no information from the dev team at all! Just gone, no blogs, no forums posts, NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL.

awww poor pimple faced 11 year old cant play with new toys. stop your whining, SISI is a prevledge NOT a right, and really? whining about something that isnt on sisi? Ambulation, walking in stations, now its current incarnation , Incarna has been in development for 5 + years. we were promised this by late 2008 when I joined the game in 2006! do you see us Vetrans whining about not having it yet? Grow up and learn a little about mmo development before you make posts in which you obviously have no clue about. |

Dude, chill. 4 days away is plenty of time for them to deploy it :D Afaik much of the code is already in the current sisi build. Also, just because something was on sisi doesn't mean it will be in the next expansion on tranq. Thats the whole purpose of a test server. You know, to test things? Perhaps they found bugs (If you've ever developed software you know what I'm talking about) and are fixing/polishing it. I admit a bit more communication would be nice. But this is hardly a reason to ***** and moan, is it? Lets all be happy and look on the bright side of things. :D |

I like how you invent your own excuses for CCP so that you can keep the argument going. It was announced weeeks ago that the new features would be available AFTER they were shown at Fanfest (makes sense doesn't it? That you would want to premiere your new features at an event aimed at celebrating your fan base). So.... by the time you get off your weekend shift of goose stepping around the french fryer at McDonald's is over you will be able to cinch up your Huggies, pop open a fresh juice box and log into SiSSi and find reasons to hate the new features and start a nwe thread proclaiming the impending "Death of Eve", which I am sure will be as stupid and infurating as this post. Rock on with your bad self. |

In my dev blog I mentioned that we're aiming to deliver a Work in Progress, development version of the Captain's Quarters to the Singularity test server.
Unfortunately I bring bad news. This will have to wait until after Fanfest.
Normally taking a version of the static data (gameplay values of EVE, or simply content) into a production build for deployment and quality assurance is a straightforward process. With Captain's Quarters we ran into issues with the sheer mass of changes, sneaky legacy static data changes that have never been in a live production build and defects masking other underlying defects. In the end we simply ran out of time in our deployment schedule to get the build into your hands on time.
We'll unveil the details on this first Incarna feature in the coming Friday at Fanfest. This will include what's been developed so far, what will be done before the summer expansion and the plans we have for Incarna features in the expansions to come. I'll get back to you with an updated test server date after we have recuperated from the coming week of healthy sports and some modest recreational activities.

You're funny, I mean, really comical. Bad mouthing me with all your awesome spelling mistakes and grammar errors. Anyway, I was unaware that CCP Chil had posted the post that was shown to me at the bottom of the thread. I was under the impression CCP had not communicated at all, thats what I get for not looking. As for your comments, I'm a honorably discharged, disabled US navy veteran. I'm 27 years old, currently a full time student studying Computer Engineering (so yes I do know a few things, no where near as much as the guys at ccp, about game dev). So seems like you were wrong on all accounts...fancy that. What else ya got? |

yet another complaint about something that A. isnt due out until summer. B. Is being put on the TEST server for us to test and try and break. C. is on a server ccp grants us permission to use and is NOT i repeat NOT included in our subscriptions. Idiots like you really need to acculy READ the eula and terms of service. CCP could keep the test server closed to the public should they so choose as it is NOT included in the price we pay to play on TQ. O wait, i bet your a test server warrior that only goes to 0.8 space on TQ. either way, STFU about something that is a privledge granted to you and NOT a right. |

What I mean is the files are already there, and they just won't let us test it yet. And I figured that people would get annoyed and would stop paying CCP for their tranquility accounts or something. All the eula is in my eyes is a bunch of unreadable multi-language gibberish that I don''t care about other than the fact that all of the eula stuff keeps taking up unnecasarry space on my hard drive and that I am not going to be illegally distributing games anyway.
