Rework armor rep bonuses so that ships with local repair bonuses also give an equal bonus remote reps received as well.

We need less RR, not more.

This is mostly to handle the imbalance of non active tank bonus ships vs resist bonus ships, like Abaddon vs Hyperion. Considering the current meta game is to plate the **** out of your ship atm, it puts ships like the Hyperion with a rep bonus at a distinct disadvantage. Giving the Hyperion the ability to be remote repped for more makes it so that its current rep bonus isn't completely useless when forced to plate.

What you should be asking for, is a higher percentage per level to the existing bonus. I'm sure many would agree to that.

Giving the bonus to RR would be OP tbh and we do have dedicated ships for that.

I think she's saying that if I have a rep bonus on my ship. When you RR me, I get more because of said bonus.
I don't magically become a logistic ship and RR others better.

Not sure why people aren't getting this, I was pretty clear.

It wont change the amount of remote rep, it will just diversify the ships that will receive them and still be effective.

You do know that the bonus, fluff-wise, would mean that the Repair module you install in your ship works better, due to some fluffy Repair algorithm that increases its efficiency + some sort of armor hardener or whatever your ship has, not that the module simply works better. Both working together strengthen the repair potential of your ship.

So we can't technobabble something about nanobots on the ships hull due to improvements by said bonus are able to more efficiently utilize remote rep (whatever the other ship is sending) by creating a sensor link between both ships.

Or something like that, you can fluff anything.

There is a reason why theres 2 different armor tanking bonuses.
What you propose is basicly remove rep bonus and give ressistance bonus to those ships.

Local rep is worthless in fleet pvp, that makes fleet niche ships with rep bonus worthless. CCP has stated in the past that tier 3 BS are meant to be fleet niche ships, it stands to reason that rep bonus not affecting rep received is an oversight, rather than CCP intentionally defeating their original intention of adding a tier 3 fleet niche ship to Gallente. It also stands to reason that only Abaddon seeing mass usage instead of all tier 3s is an oversight.

Or they could give them a more appropriate bonus.

Hyperion: 10% armor hp per/lvl

Maelstrom: 15% shield hp per/lvl

If anyone can't figure out why the Maelstrom would need a 15% instead of a 10%, they aren't qualified to disagree with it anyway.

So Maelstrom starts at 75% omni resists? And whomever disagree with you aren't qualified?Laughing

Except no, its still very different because those non resist bonus ships can still get alpha'd to death.
