I've uninstalled and re-installed 4 times and have the same problem (premium). the splash screen will load then disapear but the game wont load up. it shows in task manager but I see nothing. I have no cache folder or settings folder I've looked in appdata folder where it should be. The game played perfectly before I refreshed my PC. Its getting really frustrating. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm using XP. |

Reinstall DirectX.
I had to do the same after installing Windows 7 64bit. Makes no sense, but it worked for me.

To help with assistance, I believe posting this in the Issues/Feedback section will help you get the attention your problem needs. That way you'll get the attention of anyone and everywhere that's knowledgable.
Try the DirectX thing though, sounds like a good call from above poster. |

Have you tried the Repair.exe in the main CCP/EVE Folder? Also running DXSETUP in CCP/EVE/bin/DirectX fixed similar issues for me once, it is at least worth a try. |

I have run the repair, I have downloaded dx9, i have installed dot net framework, i have done all I can think of and I am having this issue as well. I am running Windows XP 32 bit. Eve was running on this machine, but I had the bright idea to reinstall windows, now it does not run. I get the splash screen and then nothing. The exefile.exe is running in the processes of the windows task manager like everyone elses. I would greatly appreciate any help I may be able to get. |

I have had this problem since Friday. I have a bug but I am not getting any help CCP. I tried installing EVE(over and over), cleared the cache, ran repair (many times) turned off anti-virus, reinstalled DX, installed dotnet and none has helped.  |

Allright! got it working. this is what I did. 1. Uninstalled EVE and deleted all related files. 2.Downloaded the Offline-installer Here. 3.installed it to differend partition than windows. (in my case it was D:) 4. Worked like a charm!  |
