Man, you really just have no idea. Tri didn't have the dignity to die. Really. The name its self only died a couple of months ago; the idea largely still lives on in "Northern Coalition dot". But Tri came back over and over and over again - the EC-P and low sec days, the invasion of Deklin, the failed invasion of Providence, the fail cascade with Angel and OSHT joining PL, the reforming, the conquering of tribute, Twinky going into the military, the evac of tribute, the living in Venal... Tri didn't die gracefully. Which you would know if you were there. But you joined Tri in 2010. I was very late to the Tri party, I am by no means an old school member, but I was there personally for at least 2 incarnations of Tri before you joined. In an effort to see if the participants out in 0.0 are really mad at each other, I've taken a cloaky cov-op and followed big fleets (100-200 men) around and into big fights while watching local like a hawk and oh god, oh my god. The people in GS and TEST are really angry. Some can even say they're ****ed off at IT for some reason and IMO, it would seem that they've taken a personal vandetta against IT.
Local would be filled with links and drivel. GS/TEST guys would tell IT to 'FOA' or go home or bunch of ***gots, I'm sitting there thinking "they're just there to play the game or have fun just like yous, why are you hurling abuse and being mad?" than I realised why IT members doesn't post in local (that often) or play the troll game on COAD.
It seems like the average IT member is a lot more mature than the average GS/TEST member, a lot more chilled you can say, to say that the GS/TEST membership are a bunch of little immature kids might be wrong but it certainly seems like it IMO.
Also, I've read into 0.0 political climate and landscape of the past, present, and future. I laugh at The Mittani, taking credit for the disbanding of BoB back in early '09. BoB was disbanded by 1 disgruntled director that weren't connected to GS/Mittani in any shape or form before the fiasco, he only defected to GS after and yet the Mittani stepped up to 'Yeah I did this, it was engineered'. Than when I heard the recent SotG (that speech thing), I've realised that The Mittani is obsessed with Molle. IMO, GS/TEST loves to paint themselves as the chill dudes in EVE, it's only a facade, a PR campaign. I'm sure that some of your members may be chilled but it doens't seem like it, to me, 90% of your membership sounds mad and angry. Your leader takes this game way too seriously.
