3 in a week is annoying and unfair compared to us playerzone, can not u do them in the mornings instead of in the afternoons? ether that or i would like a playing time compentation |

How is it unfair?
And the reason they do them in the middle of the day, EU-time, is because that's when they're at work so they can perform the patch. |

lol, yeah nothing can go wrong  Someone updates servers with wrong binary file, or uploads it to wrong place.... or all classic someone spills cup of hot coffee over the computer critical to update process... After all we know ccp QA department is paying customers. No check done before hand... "nah, we can fix them later is customers complain enough"... |

Its not exactly prime time EU when these patches hit ... australians on the other hand get the short end of the stick, because it is during their primetime. |

I'm a EU player too (GMT+1), and I don't see much issue with it. Patches have to be applied, and should they be moved to what is our mornings, it would be equally unfair for russian players. Should it be moved further, it would be unfair for australian players. And so on. My advice is that you should try to be some less self-centered, and ease things up. |

Biggest part of the EU timezone doesnt notice it, because the patches are in the afternoon and people are either working, on schools, on uni, shopping and what more.

As I'm living in GMT +9 time zone, CCP patches right after when I just off from work and had a dinner. In other words, in my country, every damn downtimes are underway during peak time.  You guys are blessed. |

Err... what?? Everytime there's an extended downtime, we either get multiple threads from the aussies complaining about downtime being in their prime playing time, or multiple responses in the patch/downtime/deployment notification thread. In fact there's already 3 responses to that effect in the deployment thread... Mind you, I'd be a bit pee'd off as well if I continually had lengthy downtimes in the only parts of the day in which I could play. On the plus side, you all get first shot of those juicy officer spawns, sanctums & plexes. |
