CCP, do you have any stats of how many portraits that were created in the first 24h of the expansion going live? 50k, 100k, 200k or more? |

Regardless I think they handled it exceptionally well! The load must have been immense and it only fell over once for about 20 minutes. Which I think was an unrelated routing issue anyway ..
All in all damn good show!
I'd also love to read a follow up dev blog on the hardware they used, the setup and the resource usage etc. Graphs please! |

I was actually surprised at how well the character generation servers held up.

This was always the case with any of their systems. Think it was the reason that they removed the mini portrait from the last character creator. |
