As of last week, there has been a recent spike in can tipper baiting in .6 sec spaces. An area of Molden Heath has been hit hardest by this as several corps are co-ordinating stings on can-tippers. If you see a lone mining barge or exhumer and it appears to be simply mining to a jettison can, you may wish to think twice about can tipping it and expecting to get a free kill with no police involvement as there are a witnessed four fleets throughout this region which are springing on tippers the moment the barge signals for help.

Reported fleet setups:
1x Wolf - scrambler / webber
2x BC's - Possible Hurricanes/Cyclones and/or Brutixs
1x BS - Maelstrom or Megathrons have been noted to be in these fleets.

? - Wolf
? - Moa
? - Cyclone

Other fleets and sizes unknown.

So just keep your heads up and be ready to boogey if you think you're getting a free can tip as with hulkageddon approaching it seems the mining corps have taken to a pro-active sting idea. (I've even heard talk of a prize for most can-tippers killed)

GUYS, this is serious. This valuable information might have just saved my ship, so pay attention!

I was doing my normal thing, looking for miners with ore cans to steal (gotta pay for my Kestrels somehow) and I come across this miner in a Rokh. So I am thinking: "Heh-heh! This Rokh pilot is such a noob he forgots to turn on almost all of his mining lasers! HAHA!"

"HAHA!"

Then I remember THIS thread. I did not take his can so maybe it was a trap maybe not, but THANK YOU OP! and everyone else needs to shut up and listen or you might fall for the TRAP! Thank you for reading.

Then again, everyone in EVE with a ship is awesome at this game and not terrible at all.

I'm not quite sure what this thread is about, because it's hot in Rio de Janeiro, and i'm not thinking straight.. please, excuse me..

So.. is the thread complaining about pirates can flipping mining ships, or complaining about mining ships baiting pirates into can flipping them and then getting ganked?

At any rate, tears are present, right? Should i go grab my jar?!

That hurricane fit was you trying to transport some loot back to base, right? You just fit anything that would fit the slots to save on cargo space, right? Just anything at all?

Please confirm it was so, because otherwise I would have to think that was a premeditated fit and my (moribund) faith in humankind really doesn't need a blow like that.

Cap rigs without anything to use it on, the "best" high layout I've seen and no neuts at all, mixed AC and arty, no ab or mwd, no scram, only thing good in lows was the dam control (1 out of 6), and no drones. Beautiful.
