Damn, same thing for me. When I said it was working I had just made a quick test, and at the time I was in windowed mode. My full screen frapsage has the cursor included  |

Well, the only "good" thing is that if more people start to
see it the more people will try and solve it.
I will try that window mode thing and see.
I did try that with older version of FRAPS and driver
and in 1280x res and still got the cursor but ill test again.
I have no response from FRAPS them selves so far.

I still think it's an EVE thing...
I mean really. Everyone has different systems. It works with some vid cards and some it don't. I mean if we have to use windows mode to make it go away then you tell me what the problem is...
We've never had the problem before. Fraps 2.5 has been out for awhile - for the life of me I really don't see that as being the problem. Fraps is a REALLY simple program. I mean REALLY simple.
My POV is that major changes were made in the way the cursor interfaces with the game. It's a much more integral part of the screen. It can click items UNDER the overview for example. It can click on items on the screen that are underneath open windows. etc. We're never able to do that before.. were we?
I believe it's a graphics setting w/in EVE. Now to find it. Of course i'm probably wrong - but from the setups posted so far I can't see how we can pin it on graphics cards, drivers or Fraps at this point.

i been getting the problem too, its annoying, cos i swear i havent seen a mouse in any other vids, and i know there are at least SOME vids that dont have the mouse in, i remember seeing the right click menus appear in the vids without a cursor =/

Do we want to make a new post for troubleshooting this together or not? If not... 15 recorded movies over the weekend, 5.5GB total recorded playing at 1600x1200 resolution (full screen) on a Sapphire 9800GT card 128mb running DNA drivers and Fraps 2.5.1 - same settings as Seleene. all of them show cursors I'm not giving up my resolution, so I'll try runningn 16x12 in windowed mode tonight. |

i have the same problem with the fraps version 2.5.
the only thing you can do is to use the 2.3 version and wait till the new version is out!

For me, the change happened sometime between December 16th 2004, and January 4th 2005. Footage from Dec 16th had no cursor, footage from Jan 4th does. It has been there since.
The only software or hardware change since then has been a Windows Update and im sure a few undisclosed EVE client/server patches. Now that I see it, its impossible to miss, grrr.
