Let me introduce you to the Turing Test. Also, you may want to take out a pen and paper, and jot down some notes with regards to a discussion on the possibility of creating a strong AI inside of a von neumann machine. Also, it may be helpful to research some other related topics, such as artificial consciousness, neural networks, general intelligence, among others. |

Good point, why even advertise it on the forums, just get names from previous Geddons and get the word out it the most discrete manner as possible. It's like hunting meth cooks and then sending them a letter saying that you are going to blow up their labs soon. |

Edited by: Whitehound on 17/01/2011 15:51:34These are not locations of macro miners in particular, as far as I know. It is worse - it has got really dumb miners in it. System: UuhulanenBelts: 10 Sec-Status: 0.5 (0.49) Region: Black Rise The system has been mined down to an unbelievable and unrecognisable state, and keeps getting mined down, repeatedly, without the chance for asteroid regeneration to revive the belts that I find myself declined to say: gank gank gank! I am not a fan of Hulkageddon. However, seeing how some miners without a bit of respect for asteroids can mine the belts of a system into such a horrible state, lets me put my love for the asteroids first and allows me to see some usefulness in Hulkageddon. Either you love those rocks or you do not, and some miners need to die before they see the light ... Imagine a pilot who is flying around constantly with his capacitor at only 2%-5%! If you know how this would feel like then you know what it feels like looking at the belts of Uuhulanen. Please, put those miners out of their misery and give the asteroids a break. If Hulkageddon needs more ideas then just hit any 0.5-0.8 system within 10 jumps around Jita. The high price for Nocxium/Pyroxeres has turned almost every miner into a cherry picker and the belts of almost any Caldari system are in a bad state. If the system then contains a station of the Caldari Navy then you are guaranteed to hit multiple dumb and stupid miners. Additionally: System: HagekenBelts: 25(!) Sec-Status: 0.6 (0.60) Region: Lonetrek Hageken has got plenty of belts, of which more than half of them get stripped bare almost every day now. Other systems do not even posses as many belts as are being stripped bare in Hageken. Of course, it has got 6 stations with one belonging to Caldari Navy. |

Edited by: Whitehound on 17/01/2011 15:55:35 The combination of running missions for the military and then to use the standings (needed for a good refining) to go mining close to the market hubs is what identifies the boring kind of a miner and makes mining in such systems unbearable. These miners may also not have heard of Hulkageddon and will likely appreciate an introduction to the event more than most other miners.
Still, I would not expect much from Gallente and Minmatar space, because of the current price and the general availability of Nocxium/Pyroxeres. |

Won't help to get rid of macrominers . At all . Some miners will ragequit , some join nearly-unvulnerable ranks of agentrunners , some "might" join the darkside , but macrominers will keep macro mining . And bot's won't generate any tears , maybe only synthetic ones . Well , anyway ... try Chelien system in gallente space , seen lots of makinawas nomming on ice there |

People don’t need me to tell them it’s a bad move. If they read these boards at all they will be well aware of Hulkadoobie. Myself, I’ve never ganked anyone, and my role in this event is to be the hunted, although I am leaning ever closer towards the idea - for macros anyway. When I do decide to set out on campaign then I certainly wouldn’t advertise anything to give it away :) Happy hunting peeps |

Originally by: Lordan Endericcson I'm watching Domain almost a year now, and I spotted several sites, which need to be taking care of: Murema (0.7), Jambu (0.5), Charra (0.8) and Warouh (0.5) Warouh has got an ice-belt, so it's always full of mackis, maybe orcas are there too. In Charra I spotted a possible macro miner in a hulk, always there. Sources told me, that there are corps, who run into low-sec to mine during hulkageddon, but we'll organize some patrol-runs, to elminate 'em.
Hmmm...I been mining in Charra for the last couple of weeks while at work. When at work I dont respond to local, bumping, convo's etc. and mine for pretty much 10 hours straight, then continue for a little longer when I get home. I hope your not implying that I am the Bot just because I am anti- social.
Hi, No, U R not on my list, but I suggest to mine elsewhere during hulkageddon 4. |

Its not about removing the macros, because the macros will be there in march again after you finish killing them. Without macros only the richest moons would have POSes on them and ships would cost a lot more. But! Why should the macros and miners get a free ride?
Plus my killboard sucks, all my friends laugh at my small e-peen. I need this! |

Confirming, Aokinen Constellation in Black Rise has a healthy population of macro-miners, especially in Uchomida icebelt. Entire systems mined out for days at a time, with almost no regeneration. Other times, nothing being done for days. But you can almost always find a few macks or hulks in the ice belt in Uchomida. |

This should be obvious after so many hulkageddon events: First anyone with a name you don't like is a macroer... Second, anyone mining some place you don't want them is a bot. Third, If they don't talk to you when you make fun of them in local they are afk. Forth, if they have shield boosters running and are not being attacked this is a macro give away because they couldn't possibly click the booster themselves. Fifth, anyone in an npc corp is a macro.. that's what npc stands for, non-person-corp. Sixth, if they mine for longer than 3 minutes they have to be a bot because everyone knows that a real person would get bored after one cycle. Seven, if they are young players they were obviously created to bot... because..they ..were. Eight, if you look at their employment history and they haven't been in 15 corporations in the last year.. they are for sure a macro. Ninth, when in doubt - they are macro mining. I'm sure there are other subtle ways to tell... |
