Well, if he is sick, he should go to empire, buy battleships and smartbombs then start killing Exhumers.

The release of vapor from the empire Ice Fields cause cancer.
You should all help your friend with warp-in's and help looting / salvaging the wrecks he leave behind and also the pods.

Since it sounds that you guys have a logistical backbone with miners and all, start producing battleships for him at cost and provide him with the tools to kill the ships that gave him cancer.

Honestly, there are a lot of ppl whose sanity are in question in this game.
Obviously they are not what you want so either forget about it and move on or find away to get revenge.
Whatever you do, make sure your choice is what you trully want.

On the good side, No more IRC fools and their terrible CTA fleets anyway, always had to piggy back on Solar or RA fleets to do snything decent. Only reason they haven't been curb stomped is cause no one wants drone space.

That said, any 0.0 alliances looking for another corp?

This conversation is all very one sided..I love the fact everyone has come to a conclusion just by hearing half the story.

My thoughts?... the guy can run 9 accounts but he can't fly a tackler once a week to help defend the space he's living in?
Sure people have RL problems and cancer is a ***** (get well soon mate)...but please don't use it as an excuse... (especially when you're mounting a multi-alt mining operation)...
The fact Aradia is mentioning it in every post and taking advantage of his friends condition to gain sympathy is apauling.

I don't get what happened on TS... you died, and you mentioned it on TS?... most alliances have a policy of keeping the soundwaves clear of irrelevant information and sticking to important commands and orders...maybe that's what happened?

As for what Axe said... well.. he was obviously on a bad mood...or is he always like this?... that doesn't mean he stops being your HC...and HC is your HC... you don't like them then you leave... this isn't a democracy.

Pilots who know me can make their own judgments. Enough of you know me from being in IRC or fighting against us. The rest will think what they want.

As you have seen from the posted mails, the pilot in question had and has my every sympathy. I lost my grandmother to a long and painful battle with cancer. I lost my best friend in college one week before his 21st birthday to cancer. I am currently dealing with my own cancer. And when a good friend developed CML four years ago and his family asked a few of us, I donated platelets every week for two months. Because he felt badly about using the hospitals reserves. So please know this pilot is truly in my prayers. As is anyone fighting cancer. I do wish him the fastest and smoothest of recoveries, and all the best of things in real life and in game.

But Aridia used this one member’s cancer regularly to explain why his entire 61 man corp couldn’t bother to show up to CTAs or HDs ever. Don’t take my word for it. Look at our killboard. The one active PvP pilot he did have who would regularly fleet up (Shiro She) has recently left Rising Ashes for another Alliance. I did blow up at Aridia. It was a heated discussion (after a series of other never-ending conversations with Aridia). Because I hate it when someone uses another’s troubles for his own gain. Aridia was using his pilot’s cancer for his own benefit (not having to act like a real CEO and get his pilots moving in this case).

I am very certain though that I did not wish any ill to his member. Other members who were in channel have verified this. If there was any other belief, I will apologize to that pilot. But not to Aridia.

The reason Rising Ashes was kicked is because they were not in any way an asset to our Alliance. Pure and simple. And often a hindrance. In addition to the participation issues with Rising Ashes, Aridia also was camping a blue when another IRC Corp brought in another pilot with whom he had difficulties with when they were both in HTA. Also, Aridia invited in known spies (hopefully because he was too lazy or dumb to look up their past and not out of intentional ill will). And, like him or hate him, Cosmo was 100% right telling a whiney pilot to shut up when he got podded in fleet. Just like any of you would. Not to mention that he was a semi-permanent AFK CEO – a fact that hurt us when we were trying to get rid of the spy. And the list goes on.

And, btw, to Eve News: You might want to check out your facts before you post something. One of the corps who left us recently did so because many of their pilots were living in highsec mission running. When we got war dec’d – they didn’t do so well (again – check the KBs). They left on good terms. Another wanted to try to form their own Alliance. They are still blue and have a spot with us if they should so choose in the future. And so on.

But don’t let the facts get in the way guys!

In all of this, I do apologize to the pilot in Rising Ashes. I cannot imagine you would have wished to seen your fight broadcast in this manner. And to IRC who has to see the results of our mistake of inviting this Corp in to our Alliance.

im sorry to hear of your situation as well Quebber its not something anyone should have to go through and hopefully in the near future they do figure out a cure. i know of a few people as well that fought hard but ended up loosing the battle. roughly 1 month ago my sisters ex bf lost his gf to full body cancer as well so it was not a pleasant xmas for him. i can only imagine seeing someone go through something like that and being unable to help.

I received Alexis consent to put this post up as just as i wanted everything out he did as well so that others wouldn't make the same mistake. i apologize if you find it in any way offensive as that is not the intent of this post. its to open peoples eyes that this is just a game and there are living breathing people on the other side of that keyboard and there is a line you just don't cross. You have my prayers and hopes that things get easier for you and your wife.
