BIG is the most caring corporation I've ever been in. Sure I've had friends in other corps, but never anything like BIG.
It took me quite a while to acclimate to BIG's way of life, but they never gave up on me.
After a month, they didn't give up.

This is so that you can get used to how we do things while you decide if it is right for you. So you don't have to give everything up right away, but if you plan to stay in the corp you must commit to our way of life and donate everything and pool resources with the corp. All applicants that make it through the application process are willing to give it a try, so they are usually pretty sure they're going to stick with it. If you decide to leave after having donated and have been pretty active, a severance package is often given to help you get back on your feet after leaving. This is done on a case-by-case basis. Though it is rare to have someone who has gone this far leave the corp.
